28 Day Challenge : June 26-July 24

Current Weight - 209.6
Challenge Goal - 195
I will do this by:
1. Follow the plan 100% (I follow the pre-planned menus for the most part - so not ready for MOMO)
2. Drink water. Limit myself to one diet cola/day.
3. Do at least 30 minutes of structured exercise 5 days per week as well as my move more mentality (park farther away, etc)
4. Log my food into BM site.
My JCC used the mantra, it's just food, it's just food. Is my life better because of eating that particular item? Am I doing something to get me to my goal by eating that food (not usually!).
Who's ready to join me?

Thanks for getting it started! I've got to get the consistent exercise locked in!
I am committing to :
-20 min. minimum exercise 5 days/week.
-5 glasses minium of water per day (I can get sketchy here - a gallon one day- two glasses the next)
-staying on plan (forced to do MOMO -due to work travel) not too many trips this month; hoping to have at least 2 complete weeks on JC food only!

My goals:
1. Stay on plan - for me, I have a hard time eating all the veggies and salads.
2. Drink my water - Minimum of 38oz a day.
3. SW: 228.2 (as measured yesterday at JC); GW: 218.2
Good luck to everyone!

Was anyone ready to start today? How did it go?
I did ok. Had some off plan pretzels for a snack this afternoon but only had 6. I was at a kid's birthday party with my daughter and was able to say no to pizza, full sugar pop, and cupcakes. Yea me! And my friend, the host, continually offered me food! I am proud of myself.
Didn't drink enough water or get my structured exercise time but didn't just sit around either. We were out on our new boat after the party so that was fun.
We start swimming lessons tomorrow but we aren't staying for open swim so that will help with the challenges.

Oh well... chances are I'll be fine. To 'even' it all out, I walked home from work today. I hope everyone else is doing well!

As I think about the exercise, I'm trying to follow advice I read somewhere...
There are two phrases you need to learn, especially when it comes to healthy eating and exercise.
1. No matter what....no matter what happens, what isn't happening, how you feel, how tired you are, how busy you are, no matter what, make time to exercise.
2. Do it anyways. Do it anyways, even if you are tired, busy, hungry, etc.
So when it comes to exercise, No matter what, I need to do it anyways! And when it comes to following the plan, no matter what, I need to do it anyways! As my JCC says, its just food.

Don't know what's in the air, but I just can't seem to get the momentum either! I'm down more than 10 lbs. but I'm still wearing the same size. I'm bored with my Jenny food, missing salt like a madwoman and too tired to exercise. I'm drinking water ( 8 - 10 glasses total) but I'm still waking up with my rings tight so I must be retaining but I don't know where the salt is coming from. Somewhere inside me I haven't given up completely because I haven't broken down and bought a bottle of wine but the whispers of "why bother?" are getting louder.
Sorry, I can't be more of a cheerleader but I'm in the valley right now...

But friend, we have to get this together. Yes, it's easier to give up, and easier to just eat what we want. But we HAVE TO do this for us. We had great goals when we started and we need to go back to that excitement. I'll rah-rah you if you rah-rah me!
On the days we don't feel like doing it, we need to follow this mantra...
No matter what.....do it anyways!
