Looking to Lose 40 and Need a Buddy

31 years old, not married, no kids to chase after (just a dog).

I started in March 2008 (i think). Initially I dropped 17 lbs just by eating the food and doing no exercise. I kept going up then down and finally lost a little more and totally toned up by doing CrossFit. That was a year ago. After a really tough year, I'm now the heaviest I've ever been at 170 (I'm only 5'2''). I have no energy to workout and I have no motivation to change my eating habits for good. I've been into a Center sporadically over the last 6 months with my sister who is doing it too. She owns her own business and has a one year old and isn't super committed right now to losing weight. I went into Jenny Craig a few weeks ago, took a new picture and am starting over fresh.

I am interested in finding a buddy to check in with regularly. My goal is 130lbs. Oh and my bf is a personal trainer...you'd think that would help (not so much).

Anyone interested in being my buddy?

Hi Les! I am also looking to lose 40 pounds..I could totally check in with you!
I am 33, 5'8 and 190, would like to be 150...I did JC about 3 years ago and lost 30 pd, but gained it back when preggo woth my 3rd daughter. I hate working out- period, although I think I'm going to have to do it at some point to get to where I want to be...re-started the program on Monday- so far my only complaint is not being able to drink a glass of wine, I REALLY miss that a lot...also, what are your food plans for 4th of July?

Hi Les,
I would love to be your buddy! I've been in a funk and off the boards for a long time. I've been doing JC for way too long...3 years to be specific. I am still down 36lbs or so...but I've been in a real funk and seem to keep sabatoging myself...not sure why.

I am married,w/ 7 year old twins and a newly adopted 2 year old golden retriever mix.

I work out constantly. I do Zumba 1-3x a week depending on my husband's schedule and when he can get home to be w/ the kids. I also do a TNT fitness class 2x a week that is abs and weight training. I am currently 192.8 lbs and 5'7 (at last check last week). My heaviest was 230 lbs. I've had my body fat tested and suprisingly it's only 21.2%!

My goal is to be 165 lbs, but at this rate, I'd like to break thru the 180's!!!
