Is this too much to burn in a day while on JC?

I'm no expert but that does seem a little high. And it depends on how active the rest of your day is, as well. When I was on JC at 1200 calories/day, I worked off about 400/day and the pounds came off nicely at about 2 per week. Nice and steady. I hope some others more knowledgeable than me join in.
50+ pound weight loss and into maintenance. It's been an exciting road and well worth the effort.

Here's to weight loss and a new life!

i work out about 4-5 times/week. i usually burn 400-500 calories per workout (according to the cardio machines when i do them, which is generally twice/week). but i've burned up to 1,000/day. i don't think 600 is too many, especially if you don't do it all the time. what matters most is finding out what works best for you.
good luck!
