I really did not care for the fish and chips, ugh. And the anytime bars are beyond gross. Everything else is at least ok. It is funny reading this thread because so many of the foods that people can't stand, I love! The salad kits are my absolutely favorite Jenny food, period.

Is there anyone here that likes the fish and chips, or the anytime bars?

I actually love them both. I however cook the Fish and chips in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Makes it crunchy and yummy with some ketchup!!!! Also I am lost without my Anytime Bar daily! Gotta have it. I have been on program since 1997 and love pretty much everythig but the new Thai Curry Chicken. Seriously spit that one out!!!

I am always amused by how different tastes are among everyone. The Thai curry is my FAVORITE shelf-stable food! It's one of the only non-frozen meals I order regularly, I get it every week!

I think I have said this before on another thread, but if you want to lose weight - it is not easy. I was eating salad and grilled chicken every day. That was terrible!!!

On Jenny- at least I am eat food that you can't really eat in the real world when trying to lose weight.

If i don't like something, i don't get it- it is as simple as that. or i will try to add some veggies, spices, or cook it a certain way and figure out a way i prefer it.

all i am saying, i am a fan of anything that helps me reach my goal weight! and feel amazing - while not having to think and deprive myself.... jenny really is the best!!!!

Agreed, the salad kits are awful, bring back Pasta Ole and Cheesy Enchiladas in their place.

Well for me, I'm kinda stuck since I can't handle eating eggs by themselves or fish. Kind of a smell trigger thing. I'm sure they taste fine but eh. My bf said the foods that came with my first planned week last year were good for breakfast.

As for my dislikes:
Anything shelf stable except for the chili. Some were ok tastes but they and my tummy were not happy. The umm well gas was too bad and I hurt.

Honestly the 2 I just threw out were the cookout chicken, one bite and nope and the beef mashed potato one. I honestly opened the film, looked at the black color and went.... ya no.

But my 2 cents on trying to fix things, I don't have a good stove so I don't add a lot of cooked veggies, but what works for me is Mrs. Dash or Mccormick seasonings. That cheesey potatoes and chicken is a lunch staple with me with a ton of Mrs. Dash Table Blend.

Except for the chili, I "treat" all my dinners with some garlic pepper. Makes those potatoes in the meatloaf yum yum.

Can't wait to try the new cheesecake. I lurve bananas

If you can't cook veggies on a stove top or oven, there are some great frozen veggies you can buy at the store that steam microwave right in the bag! Try Bird's Eye Steamfresh Vegetables (my favorite is the Asian Medley). I also saw someone suggest using a zip-loc bag to microwave-steam your veggies. Throw in 1/2 cup of water and zap!

This is a great post. I am starting week 2 and there was not much I didn't like. There are quite a few things I havne't tried yet, but I LOVED the Breakfast Scrambler, Cheesy Omlet and every other breakfast I've tried. I didn't get any of the loaves or cereals/bars because I love a good protein breakfast. I know the route I went was pricier - but I enjoy them every morning so I can't complain.

I have mainly not liked certain snacks: Cinnamon Twists (although the crumble that someone posted over peaches sounds delish - may have to try it out with the 2 remaining in my pantry that I dread eating LOL), cheese curls, popcorn and the caramel peanut bar (which I thought I would love - but it tasted like a protein bar)
The ONLY Dinner I have not liked so far is the Traditional Lasagna. Just had that tonight and I didn't gag or anything - I choked it down, but I was less than impressed. I guess since I love my italian food - the dry cheese and fake meat just didn't do it for me. Other than that I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I've eaten up until this point. After reading this post I'm quite worried about trying the cookout chicken and beans in my pantry LOL! I don't think the Anytime Bars taste horrible, but they definitely do a number on my stomach. I actually saw that Pria Bars were on sale today at Drugstore.com and I ordered 4 packs (60 bars total) for $45 shipped. So excited to receive these and alleviate some of these stomach bubbles.

I loved reading all these posts!!

Hated the Bananas Foster Cheesecake---tasted like an artificially flavored banana! Glad that it's not a permanent item.

I'm only on week 2 but I've liked most of what I've tried. I like the Anytime Bars and the chicken & baked beans dish. I didn't care for the toffee cookies or the chocolate chip cookie. I really liked the fish & chips, the french toast & berries, and the chocolate cheesecake dessert.

I saw the turkey dinner on the menu list but my JC consultant told me that it was discontinued. She said that sometimes the manufacturer stops making the product, and JC tries to find another source but they can't always find one - or it just takes time to find an alternate source.

I'm not sure if anyone from JC monitors these boards, but I hope so. Also, I hope the JC consultants express their clients' preferences to Corporate!

I am only on week 2, but so far I have disliked any of the non-frozen meals, including the soupitizers. I think on my next meeting at JC I will request not to have any non-frozen foods. I just have a feeling that I will not like any of the new ones either. Something grosses me out about eating prepackaged meat that does not require any sort of refrigeration. Do you have any suggestions for replacing them?
I know I can make my own soupitizer, there is a recipe on the website and I know that with fresh veggies it will make it 100% more edible. But as for the meals like Swedish Meatballs, what can I replace that with?

I don't order any of the shelf stable foods either. I just replace them with the frozen lunches and dinners. My JCC knows that I don't order any of the shelf stable items and we just take those off the menu and add in the frozen meals. Not a big deal at all.

I wish they were not so slow at bringing in new foods. I know that some of the foods people are loving just don't appeal to me. I just wish they would try new ones more frequently. I also wonder why they don't produce a frozen yogurt or ice milk product. Most of the meals are frozen so why not?

I've been in Maintence for the last 8 months and decided to come back to Jenny and lose 15 more. I have to say that I was really excited to have some of the foods back. Loved my Turkey burger lunch today. I sooooo missed it!

What won't I eat, the cookout chicken is nasty as is the beef and mashed potatoes. I actually like everything else. Whenever possible cook the food in a pan or in the oven. It tastes MUCH better that way

I agree with the Shelf stable problem. It wasn't so much that I don't like them, it was my body doesn't like them. Had worse tummy problems then with the Anytime bars.

New addition to the list is the banana cheesecake.. too much work for eh flavor and the chicken tomatillo. Words cannot describe the eh I felt to that.

My second week into this diet plan. So far I don't like Swedish Meatballs, beef burgers or the egg dishes. Id rather make my own eggs. Everything else have been really tasty. I prefer the turkey burger to the beef burger. The pasta dishes have been great as well like the ziti and the mac and cheese.

I am a returning member but I have to say I had the lasagna tonight and wasn't a fan, I felt like it was filled with fake meat. I love the fish and chips cooked in the oven. The chicken stuffed sandwich is one of my favs for lunch, the bananas foster was wonderful, but my absolute fav so far was the cinnamon rolls! Sorry I didn't really tell you too much of what I don't like.

I'm a returning member (3rd time) and have been back for one month. Reached my goal the first time on JC and when I returned this time, I found that a few of my favorite foods from back then are still available (french toast, salad kits, mac&cheese).

I haven't tried all the dishes yet (can't eat spicy foods for one) but so far, my favorites are:
Chicken fettuccine, chicken carbonara, rising crust pizza, french toast, fish and chips (without the vinegar). And I had no problems finding favorites snacks: cheese curls, popcorn, chocolate cakes, s'mores bar and cookie n cream cheesecake.

I won't order the turkey chili, beef & cheese slider or turkey burger again. Everything else I have tried has been okay - even if they may never be one of my favorites.

I had a couple of items that I thought were very good the first one or two times I tried them (like the cheddar cheese omelet), but did not like at all the next time I ordered it.

The hints on this thread for dressing up some of the JC meals are very helpful. Thanks!!
