What are the foods that you have tried and will never buy again. Perhaps JC will consider removing them permantly and bring back the foods that we love like the cinnamon rolls.

I hate the following:

any of the salad kits - yes they are convenient but looks to much like cat food ohmy.gif
sweet & sour chicken
beef chili
camp out chicken - too sweet for me
chicken lasagna florentine - yuk - what were they thinking
mashed potatoes and beef
teriyaki salmon

That is so funny! Every single one you named I have tried once, and only once! Everything else I pretty much like! We must have the same taste! And cinnamon rolls are coming back in the fall, I have 4 in the freezer I am rationing out until then!

I just started last week & there are definitely some meals I won't be ordering again. But will JC staff see these posts, will it make any difference what we say here?

I din't care for the following:

any soupitizer
meatloaf
salsbury steak
multigrain hoops cereal
cheesy potatoes & Chicken
Breakfast scramble
Ranch dressing
dry.gif

That's all so far, like I said this is only my 2nd week. . .so we'll see how it goes.

The problem with this is that some of those meals already named (Cheesy Potatoes and Chicken, Chicken Stuffed Sandwich, and the Breakfast Scramble) are favorites for other people. I'm a fan of the Chicken Stuffed Sandwich and the Breakfast Scramble (particularly when cooked up with some sauteed mushrooms and onions! oh, yum!); the Cheesy Potatoes and Chicken isn't on my favorites list, but it is in the lunch rotation.

Now, if you want to talk about getting rid of the swedish meatballs? Ok, I'm all for that! Or re-working the blueberry and banana-walnut "muffin loaf" breakfast things? Yep, I'm for that, too! Both of those are way too dry.

What I'd love to see, though, is a shrimp or steak fajita option - something just like the chicken fajita dinner but with shrimp/steak. Man, that'd be tasty!

I agree with you tbot, a seafood option would be really nice. I love shrimp and scallops.

To be totally selfish I would have to say I'd love them to get rid of anything with mushrooms (I'm allergic to the little fungi). I really don't like the cheesy potatoes, but I know a lot of other people do like that dish. I'm really not a fan of most of the shelf stable meals, they are definitely handy to keep around, but I prefer frozen by far!

I would love to see the breakfast loafs gone and the blueberry and banana nut muffins back, those were yummy. Not a fan of the loafs...

Hi - I love this thread. I hated the chocolate chip cookie. I literally spit it out and ate one real homemade cookie for about the same calories. I also don't like those fake cheetos - really not a cheese flavor - I don't know what that taste is. The broccoli and cheese potato tastes good but makes me lethal; I don't order that anymore either.

There are only a few things I didn't like:

- Chocolate Chip Cookie
- Cashew Chicken (hit the trash before taking a bite. It was super-smelly)

I am a HUGE fan of the Salisbury Steak that someone mentioned. I need that one! Don't make it disappear! smile.gif

I have to agree with you with the chicken lasagna it was the ONLY meal I couldnt even finish because I thought I was going to vomit. There are some I dont like, but none ever made me sick before. I hate the teriyaki salmon, beef chili, and sweet and sour chicken as well.

I disliked all of the shelf stable foods I tried and only eat frozen (even the soups), but understand that many people like the convenience and taste of these. I think it is psychological for me. As for the frozen I disliked the breakfast scramble and salisbury steak.

I can't stand any of the non-refrigerated dinners of lunches. Terrible! I have 5 in my pantry right now that I ordered without realizing that they were 'travel' foods. I wonder if I can get a credit for them at my center. I've tried 2 and am not willing to subject myself to any more of them.

I only have a few to add to my list that I would not repeat:
The dressings - I would much rather buy a bottle and enjoy it
The anytime bars - do people really enjoy these? They taste like cardboard
The banana nut loaf - so dry!!!!
The cheese curls were blah but not horrible..

I have enjoyed all of the other foods I have eaten so far.

I really did not care for the fish and chips, ugh. And the anytime bars are beyond gross. Everything else is at least ok. It is funny reading this thread because so many of the foods that people can't stand, I love! The salad kits are my absolutely favorite Jenny food, period.

Is there anyone here that likes the fish and chips, or the anytime bars?

I think its so funny how we all have different likes and dislikes. I love the cheesy potatoes, chicken stuffed sandwich, fish and chips, cheese curls and Peanut butter Anytime bars.

I do not like the Philly panini sandwich. slimy and tasteless
pasta ole, just plain yuck
mashed potatoes and beef has got to go.
Teriyaki salmon

I think that overall, the food is very good which makes it easier to stick with the program

OMG...tried to eat the campfire chicken and beans tonight. YUK! two bites and into the trash...but I have to say, I'm still very pleased overall with the food. Creamy chowder and tonight's dish are the only two things that I have found just downright bad.

The mashed potatoes and beef was just nasty. I think I ate about two bites of it. The beef was just awful and swimming in gravy, and the potatoes were so dry. I couldn't take it!

The fish and chips are one of my favorites though. I have to have it every week.

I am so glad someone posted this thread! I needed to vent today! I am only on my third week and I was out of town last week so I didn't eat a lot of the suggested foods but I am pretty much nixing most of the "beef" (and I use that term loosely) items from my line-up. I started the morning with the infamous Blueberry Loaf and I ate the Swedish Meatballs today (barely got them down). Never, ever again! My stomach has been a mess all day. Luckily the Sesame Chicken I had for dinner was pretty good.

I am also not a fan of the following:

Soupitizer (threw the Minestrone out after one bite)
Zesty Tortellini Soup
Beef Chow Mein
Salisbury Steak (I'd eat if if I had to, but not my favorite)
Anytime Bars (Seriously...If you want us to eat them, make them taste like food...not a food replacement substance)
Cheese Curls and Popcorn (edible, but could be much tastier)
Swedish Meatballs
Blueberry Loaf (I added the last two even though I mentioned them above because I am mad at them for giving me a tummy ache...hello...I have turned into a small whiny child)
