Welcome Laura and yogagal! I am living proof that you can take it off after 60. I lost the majority of this weight when I was in my late 50s, but came back in September after I retired to lose some of the weight I gained back. Well, I am happy to report that I am at my initial goal, and I plan to maintain for most of the summer. In September, I will push to get off the 15 pounds I never lost before.
You can both do it! I won't lie - it takes longer when you are our age, but it is so worth it!
LOVE, JILL
Hi everyone -
I'm new here and need some support also

This is my first time with JC and lost 3.9 lbs the first week. I'm trying to stay positive and recognize that this may be a slow process. I've gained so much weight in the last 5 years that I could hardly believe the scale when I got on it. I'm trying to figure out what I did (or didn't do) to let my weight get so high and all I can figure out is that I haven't paid attention to taking care of myself. I need to change from being an emotional eater to being a mindful eater and get back to being more active. I guess I finally decided to do something about it because I got tired of having to buy new clothes for work each year because they no longer fit! Can't even count the number of skirts and suits hanging in my closet that are too small!
I hope we can keep each other on track. I look forward to checking in regularly!
