biggrin.gif Hi Everyone,

I'm still here but have been rather busy in the morning so I have not been posting. Reading yes Posting no. Honestly I have also been really cranky just call me Oscar the Grouch. So when I'm like that its best for me not to say anything.

On the upside I have made it to my training sessions these past two weeks. Last Tuesday, June 7th we took some measurements & fitness tests to establish a baseline. I know it sounds strange that we didn't do this before but both of us are finally settled down to create foreward progress. I still enjoy working with her but oh the Inner Child is really focal on the afternoons of the workout. Boy does she whine trying to derail my intent but I have prevailed and I really do need to continue on this path.

Sounds life everyone is having some major issues with stress and eating. Well you know its been rather a stressful spring what with floods, earthquakes, tornados and stupid politicians so what is a person to do...so to everyone a big hug and a push for you to get back up, dust yourself off and start again. Just keep starting again because that is what life is all about.

Sorry that I cannot go into more this morning but I really do need to get to work. Take care everyone and have a wonderful Friday and if you have a Dad or a Husband remember to give him a hug today and do something nice for him on Sunday!!
With patience and perseverance I choose to pursue my goals.

Hey, Hey, Girls!

Thought life was supposed to settle down for me after I finished the windsock and my son's graduation--NOT!

At least it's a bit more in my control. I'll be going to orientation for UW Eau Claire with my son this weekend and we have an invitation to visit and stay overnight at his girlfriend's house. Her parents seem to like me and Jonathan and extended the invitation. They may change their minds after the evening is over...HaHa!

I knew this was coming and the best part is all I have to do is show up. I don't have to make anything or do anything first.

The next thing on my plate is finding a better job and working with HIKE-the Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment. I am the state chairperson this year. The girl (the youth representative and my counterpart), is very excited and eager to be part of all that is required. She's not doing it for the blurb on her resume or her title--she really cares. That makes everything soooo much easier. We should have a lot of fun and get the work accomplished all at the same time.

Since the thread has been quiet for a couple of days, I'm assuming everyone is very busy with summer activities.

Nancy--sounds like you are busy, busy, busy. But this job also seems to make you happier than the one from last year.

Pattylynne--good for getting to training sessions. I need to up my activity and you are my inspiration.

Marg--summer fruits and veggies are soooo nice. Enjoy yours!

Hey to all the rest--gotta get back to work.
Donna

unsure.gif Hello!!

Donna you are correct this thread has become silent so hopefully everyone is enjoying their summer activities.

I am active and continue to work with the trainer. Unfortunately the vertigo has come back. Not as bad as in the beginning but it is lurking in the background. So I just grit my teeth and keep telling myself to simply soldier on. One of these days I will get to goal but I've decided not to put a time limit to it.

This weekend I am headed out for Virginia Beach and will be gone for a few days. I've decided not to take my MM band and will take some JC food for breakfast & lunch. Dinner though will be at a restaurant because I am longing for seafood.

Take care everyone and keep moving!!
