Hi, any vegetarians doing their halfway menus? I've just started but can't seem to stay within the 5 starch servings. Any tips? How do you break up your starches through each meal/snack?
I've noticed that eating a full day of vegetarian JC foods, the starches are almost always over 5 servings anyway, so not sure what to do exactly.

I too just reached my half way so Im finding I really have to read up on how many calories are in evderything, but i think its like anything else once we get it down we will know how to eye ball things and know just what it counts as. It will take some time for sure. Im so happy that they start us off slowly so we can learn and take the time to figure it all out. I have found that I do have to leave the starch out of one of the meals to keep it at only 5. so I rotate each week on that. usually lunch as I always have a big saled and do add my protien to it and leave off the starch and save them for morning and dinner, but once in a while I leave it of in the morning and just have ny fruit and yogert or lite string cheece. Or veggie sausage.

Fran thanks for sharing your menue as well, that was so helpful, gave me one more way to make a meal.

We are all doing great!!
