Hi everyone,I'm 14 and I've tried everything to lose weight,I get plenty of sleep, drink lots of water, and excersise every day.I run, play sports, everything.I've been on Jenny Craig for like 2 weeks,I lost a pound and gained it back.I know this sounds gross but,I'm not really digesting my food. When did you guys begin seeing results?

Are you eating everything on your menu? Teens are typically put on the 1700-2300 calorie menus, which is a lot of food but you need to eat it all in order to lose weight. Since you are still growing, your body needs to get enough fuel. You also said you exercise and play sports every day, so you are probably burning a ton of calories doing that. If you are having a hard time getting everything in, I always suggest that people try to combine their servings. Like if you have 3 fruits in a day, but you can't fit them all in, make a smoothie. Use up one of your milk servings and your fruits, and you'll have a great snack for either the morning or after you come home from your sports.

How come you are not digesting your food? Are you doing this under the guidance of a physician?

No,I wasn't eating everything on my menu.It was just too much, they put me on a 1500 calorie menu and it was still too much. But that'a a great idea,to combine the servings of fruits.Thank you ! biggrin.gif
