Why is week 2 harder then week 1? So far I've been hungrier then last week (and have eaten everything on my list) and am having terrible chocolate cravings sad.gif

Amanda: You are in the process of de-toxing your body in a way. You are purging all of the sugar and fats from your diet, and your body is fighting you! Seriously, for the first month or so use your limiteds liberally. I think (you can check with the Dietician) you can had sugarfree pudding to solve your chocolate cravings. Just keep it to a minimum (like ONE).

You will be fine. There is a certain amount of white knuckling that takes place with any eating plan. If it were all easy no one would be overweight, YKWIM? It gets easier, and once you have adjusted to the program, you will actually have days where you don't even THINK about the food. I promise.

LOVE, JILL

Thanks for the help Jill! I'm trying to stay motivated by the loss from last week. I don't want to slip! It's one of those I know what I need to do mentally, but I need to keep doing it physically.

I had a smore's bar last night as my desert, it was AMAZING!!!!

I told my consultant right off the back, I am willing to do anything to lose this weight but that chocolate is a requirement for me to "LIVE"..without it I am a goner. LOL with that said, I allow myself to have one or two dark chocolate hershey's kisses whenever I have the craving.

Amanda, another thing you can do is eat slower. Like you i love chocolate and my desert tonight is the chocolat cake. Even though i usually eat my desert later at night, I couldn't wait and i had 2 bites very slowly to savor the taste as much as possible lol tongue.gif. I plan to finish the rest after my dinner. Eating slowly and taking a taste of my chocolate snack earlier helps fight the craving like it did for me tonight. Now, i don't have chocolate on my mind like i did since i got up this morning.

I did very well until week three. After that, I found myself hungrier and craving some old favorites. It's tough, but I keep telling myself that I need to stay focused and on plan if I want to lose.

ps- Yo are right! Those smores bars are so good, I won't let anyone try a bite. I can't spare that lost bite. My boyfriend asked if I would buy him one at the next consult so he can try it. ha ha

Keep Chugging and stay focused!

I'm on Day 4 of Jenny & I'm LOVING it!!! Love the foods I've tried so far except for one item! And I'm never hungry! THAT is a miracle for me! I fill up on veggies, can barely eat the two fruits and dairy serving I'm supposed to have on the 1200 calorie personalized plan and I'm forcing myself to eat all my Jenny meals! Everything is delicious and I'm not craving anything, like my usual chocolate and pb cravings! This is the first diet I've ever felt like this on! My wedding is around the corner in September, so the heat is on to lose the last 30 pounds, that weight watchers wouldn't work anymore! So I'm praying the entire jenny experience is as smooth as this first week!!!! If I can do this, so can YOU!!!
I'd love to hear what your faves and dislikes of the jenny foods are so far!
