Yes I have been MIA past few days so sorry. between the full time job, full time school, the gym, my trainer and I guess I can let the cat out of the bag..... dating again - my plate is full.
I have also been organizing something at work that means so much to me. My companies participation in the heart walk in Boston. My dad had open heart surgery in April and May and is currently living with me while he recoups..... I was motivated to lose my weight due to this scare with him, not sure how many bumps will be in my journey, but for now.... its been strict focus. I became a captain for this walk in Sept. It's just all so important to me.I am excited to be doing something for the Heart Association.
Leslie, We have those episodes when we fall of the wagon, it runs us over, then backs up over us again.... it is inevitable. What I suggest as a former JC consultant, is revisit why you want to do this. What is it about getting to that goal you set that excited you, now how has that changed? OR HAS IT? Pull out old pics, reset your goals. It's ok... You are going to get through this. We are here to help you however you need us to. (I know I speak for the Summit & Iditarod teams)
I will keep checking in. Hope everyone is well

I tallied my steps and I have about 5k left to go before finishing. I haven't gotten in more than about 5k steps daily since I haven't been doing any activity...I have been ignoring my armband and afraid to sync up cause I knew it wouldn't look good. Oh well...should have the last summit completed by tomorrow!
C'mon Purple Team....let's bring it on home!
Lisa - how are you doing out there? We haven't heard from you in awhile!
Gekko - where are you? Are you still tracking those steps? Keep up the good work!
LadyBugg - you and I need to finish Everest - we can do it! Let's cross that finish line together.
Green Team - only 10 more summits left combined to complete. You guys are so close! Keep posting your progress.
We have 8 days left....will one of our teams cross the finish line together by then??

I have been struggling with overeating so much, 2 weeks now, cannot seem to reign my appetite in. Breakfast & lunch are OK, but afternnon to evening I am hungry and not for salad....Mostly overeating 100 cal packs, small choices from fast food, etc - but it is adding up to either no losses or small gains at WI.
My new office is sucking the life out of me - energy & time - even though I enjoy the challenge it seems my coping mechanism is food (go figure). I am basically maintaining but scared even that will fall apart if i can't shake things up and get back on track. Sorry to be a bummer.
Grateful for this step challenge as my workdays are only 4-5000 w/out adding in activity - so even being inspired to walk up and down extra aisles in the grocery store helps!
I fear the Iditarod - try for Dec 31 2011!
