I'm in! I've been losing between a pound and a pound and a half per week, but I've been very on plan. If I do the right things, the "KAT Challenge, and I'm still between the 1-1.5 range, that's OK smile.gif

I can commit to the:

100% JC

Water

and

Exercise

Nice to meet you Kat smile.gif

Hi - This is Jacqueline and I am in. I just rejoined Jenny today and start program tomorrow morning. But, I can lose 10 pounds by June 7. This will motivate me to stay on program and get some exercise daily. What a great idea! Thanks and glad to meet you both.

SW: 172 -- May 7
GW: 140 -- October 2011

I'm in too!

I will add that I leave on summer vacation a week later and would love to be in the 160s by then so I may extend this challenge to meet that.

Sounds like a simple plan. JC 100%, Water and Workouts.
Looking forward to hearing how you all are doing.

GW (June 13) - 169.9

Hello Erica, Jacqueline and Marta! Welcome to the challenge. Super excited that I don't have to do this challenge alone smile.gif

How did your day go yesterday? I worked for most of the day so took all my food with me. Got my water in, did stairs at my apartment building and I couldn't have asked for a more complete JC day. Just headed out for the day to spend some time with my mom. Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies!!! I'll check in later.

Hello everyone -- hope your day was good and if you are a mom "Happy Mother's Day!". Today I realized I don't move as much as I thought I do. I strapped on a pedometer and was surprised at how few steps I had taken by 4 pm - I felt as if I had run around all day. But it was good motivation to leash up the dog and take him for a long walk. Although to hit 10,000 I will be walking around my den during a tv show tonight. Did well with food and water today. If I stay with it and move more I think I can reach our ten pound goal. Have a great night everyone!

Way to go Jacqueline! It's funny how we may think we are constantly moving and yet we find out we could be doing more. I started walking recently and realized I have an app on my ipod for a pedometer. Think I will use it for tomorrow's walk.

Did well today. For mother's day I helped out at my parents house in the garden for a little while, and then ended up taking my 5yr old cousin to the park. There was no stopping her! I was on swings, running back and forth from slides....there was definitely lots of movement today! lol

My only issue was that I was super hungry by the end of the night. I did bring my JC lunch and dinner to my parents...but we ended up eating dinner at like 4:30pm....and I was starving the rest of the night sad.gif I ended up eating 2 corn on the cob later in the evening. I know it's a starch and it wasn't in my menu plan...but at least I got activity in. Tomorrow will be a better, more controlled day wink.gif

Yesterday was great. 100% on plan, worked out and water. Today was not good. I had the Jenny Breakfast, and planned to get a chicken salad for lunch with mom, but ate pizza with the salad as well. And popcorn at the movies. UGH. I'm accountable, but not beating myself up. The rest of the week, 100%. I weigh on Saturdays.

@Kat- I know how those "hungry" days are! You did a great job! Corn isn't the worst thing you could have had, so you go girl!

@Jacqueline- I bet your dog really liked the fact that you were trying to get those steps in!

@Marta- Dream big. Shoot for the moon! Even if you miss, you'll be among stars!

Hey Everyone! I'd love to join your challange kat! I was just reading this last post and my thing i have been doing which might help is buying an extra box of anytime bars just in case i get starving and feel like cheating, i'll just grab one of them and its only like 120cals.. n has protein to fill you up.. its a better choice than something non jenny.. My weight right now is 176, my goal for June 3rd will be 168lbs, thats 8lbs to lose for me by june 3rd, if i lose 2lbs a week i think thats a reasonable goal for me... if i can get to 10lbs lost that would be awesome!!! I have a WI on thurs, i will check back with you guys to see how your all doing! Have a great week!!

Hi Shana!! Welcome to the challenge! I honestly haven't seen anything about anytime bars. I'm in Canada, and maybe they don't have them sad.gif I will ask my consultant. Are they good? What are they like? I weigh in on Thursdays too!

Erica-I'm glad that you are not beating yourself up over the pizza and popcorn. Your mindset is what has changed. You did take the chicken salad and had every intention of following through, and then "life" just happens. There are always going to be those days. The best thing about this whole process is that the weight loss comes over time. One day won't kill us. If we are doing well on all the other days, we will still see progress. I hope you had a great time with your mum.

Off to do my walk this morning. Going to try and push it to an hour. I'll let you know how I did smile.gif

I did it!! I did a whole hour of walking! There's a trail close by my house and wanted to see how far I could go. I totally pushed myself. I was almost worried that my legs wouldn't be able to carry me back home because I was so far away, but I did it. So proud of myself smile.gif

JC day is going great. I'm home with my roommate today and we are making a night out of it. I'm making my fajitas tonight and she is doing something similar. Girl's night in with movies, the wii, and my 10lb goal in mind wink.gif

Excellent Kat! You are my inspiration today; I haven't gotten all of my activity in and I am feeling lazy. But now I am motivated to get up and move. Thanks!

Shana - thanks for the extra anytime bars tip. That is a great idea! I weigh in on Saturday and will definitely order a second box. Kat if they don't have them in Canada - some Jenny clients are recommending Pria bars on the message boards. Do you have those? If not, they sell them online at Amazon.com. They say the mint ones taste like Girl Scout cookies.

Erica -- we all have off days. Tomorrow is fresh start. I know that you will do great!

Have a great night everyone. tongue.gif

Hi Jacqueline, I'm so glad I was able to give you a little push. That's what we are here for smile.gif I'm not sure if I'm just getting them mixed up, but we do have daily bars on the plan here too, but my menu plan calls them "Canadian Bars". I'm not sure if they are the same as the "anytime" bars. Either way...I Love my honey peanut bars and look forward to them daily, so they really help keep me satisfied.

Just got home from work. Had a great JC day. Looking forward to my walk tonight. I can't believe how easy this is getting. Been on program for 25 days now. I can't wait to see my weigh in results on Thursday.

Hope everyone is doing well. Stick with it. Take one day at a time and do the best that you can do.

Hey Shana, my JC scale is higher too. I took a sneak peak at my scale and it's goin' down so I'm happy smile.gif We both weigh in on the same day...Very excited to hear how it turns out! Keep us posted.

Just got back from my walk. Only did 30 min today as my 1hr walk yesterday almost killed me lol Didn't realize that I had a pedometer in my Ipod, so I broke that out today and counted my steps. It's so cute! I love it! Feelin' really good about today. Another awesome Jenny day! I can't wait till it all comes off. It's really happening. I was in such a funk for so many years, and it was so darn hard to just get out of it and start ANYTHING. I'm so glad that I went the JC route. I just couldn't do it on my own.

Hope you guys are all having a great JC day! You can do this!

Hi ladies! It's Day 6 on our 28-day challenge. How are you all doing?

I had another awesome day yesterday. Perfect JC day. Didn't go walking but danced for 30 min. According to my scale at home this morning, I'm down 10lbs and sooooo excited! I weigh in at JC today and their scale is different, but I keep track on both scales. Either way, I'm feeling great. My clothes are fitting me better. There's a lot of stuff in my closet that were really tight on me and now I can wear them smile.gif

I don't know about any of you, but I've been finding myself getting all "giddy" an night just before bed because I get so darn excited to wake up and be able to start eating again. I know...that's ridiculous...but it's true!

Although I'm so excited but the weight loss so far, I just wish I could snap my fingers and be at ONEderland by now *sighs* I know it will come...

Hope you are all doing well. I'll tell you home WI in goes. I leave very soon smile.gif

Well, I just got back from my weigh in. I lost 2.4 lbs on their scale. I was hoping to see 3lbs, but I'm totally happy with that. I have to realize that my body doesn't lose weight the same as it did in my 20's and now I have to work harder at it. I was used to losing 3lbs a week steadily back in the day. The important thing is, the weight is coming off...slowly but surely smile.gif

Off to work now....have a great day guys!

Hi Kat,
I would like to join your challenge.

I started at 260 and as of this morning I am at 198.2 on my home scale. I also weigh in on Thursdays...

My goal for Weigh In on June 9th is 188.2

Today so far, I have had a good food day. Good breakfast portions, morning cheese stick, Lunch out - Lots of fajita veggies and vinegar coleslaw with small meat portion.
After work I have a spinning class...but then is the challenge. We have a monor league baseball game, and all the dangerous food that entails.

I am saving a fruit and another cheese stick to fuel my work out and curb hunger. Will post my results tomorrow.

Hi everyone! Congratulations on your great weigh in Kat! Excellent work and a fine inspiration. I weigh on Saturdays but my clothes are a tiny bit looser so I think it will be ok. It's week one for me - the later weeks will be the kickers. But I think I can stay focused with the help of you guys. This thread really helps me.
