I really just wanted advice on how I can maybe include some snacks that would satisfy my hunger, and the regular JC snacks are not doing it! I feel my JCC is upset I didn't want to buy any JC snacks this week! She thinks well, if you are hungry then why aren't you eating your cheesecake? I like the choc cheesecake, its my fav dessert, but when I am HUNGRY, I want something more filling.
That's my rant, any suggestions??

I was in the same boat only I got hungry earlier. I teach 5 cardio classes per week (3x zumba, 2x cardio party) and I had even added two pilates a week. by 4pm I could eat cardboard, I am ravenous. I teach most of these classes after work, so I have to re-align my meals. Here is what i did and it worked.
I ate my DINNER meal for lunch.
if I was that ravenous for a snack before workout. I had turkey breast or lowfat dairy. NO starch. Just a few ounces. I eat the LUNCH meal later on when I am home. I usually get in Tue-Fri about 8pm-ish, so I eat my lunch after that. I then have a popsicle or something smal if I want dessert.
honestly, if you are that ravenous, EAT. If your JCC is upset then tell her how you feel. Her job is to help you, and I will agree, I like their snacks but bruschetta chips is NOT going to hold me for 2 hours when I am exercising, and I REALLY exercise, not flit around like some people do. I know the consultants are probably used to people saying they are REALLY exercising a LOT (and the person really isnt) but if you are truly burning the caloris and working out, and you are that ravenous, EAT. your body needs it. I had slowed losing, and was instantly resentful! I said to heck with it, Im EATING, and it was what my body needed.
So.... I spoke with my counselor and she agreed, if I am burning that much I needed some more protein. just no starch. Stick to lean meat or lowfat dairy (cottage cheese?)
hope this helps. i totally feel your pain!!!!

I know you are right, and I think I have to talk this through with my consultant. I had a feeling that she wasn't buying what I was saying. This week, I am continuing with my fitness plans as well as adding in an extra yogurt. I also find your idea of switching up meals, I too sometimes get home around 8pm from working out. I am going to give this a try. Also I usually eat a salad with my lunch.. I could be breaking apart my meals more throughout the day so I feel like I am eating more often instead of eating all of it at one time.
