I just heard that JC is finally getting an Indian dish..Chicken Tikka Masala is on the inventory sheet(in Canada at least) so should be available within a couple weeks. Hope it is good...I miss curry so hopefully this will curb that craving.

I just had the Chicken Tikka Masala for lunch. I really enjoyed it! It has lots of chicken and a nice variety of vegetables - cauliflower, carrot, zuchini, red pepper etc. It comes in similar packing to the Cashew Chicken. I cooked it the same as I do the Cashew Chicken - microwave for 2 minutes, then stir, and then microwave another 2 minutes. I find if I don't stir it at halfway then the sauce just gets burned on the bottom.

Another suggestion if you are craving some Indian food - add some curry powder to the Chicken Carbonara. I've been doing this for a while and it is fantastic!

Do you know if this is being offered in the U.S. as well as Canada? Did they mention if it's temporary or permanent?

I believe it will be offered in both countries, and everything new starts off temporary!

As an Indian-American, I know Indian food and I have to say that I love the Chicken Tikka Masala. It has the right balance of spice and spiciness. I'm really glad that it's so saucy as well, as a most of the frozen entrees tend to be a little stingy with the sauce. I hope that they keep this one forever!

I have to say that one of the things I have missed while on JC is Butter Chicken and Grilled Chicken Tikka. Never did I expect that they would come out with an Indian food option. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala for lunch today and it is AWESOME!! Spiced just right, just the right amount of sauce, LOTS of chicken. This is definately my new favorite JC meal. Please make this one permanent Jenny Craig smile.gif

I tried it today and definitely enjoyed it as well!

I added a little more hot curry powder to give it a little more kick, but what a great addition to the JC lineup!

Well, I seem to be the only one who hasn't liked this Chicken Tikka Masala. I was so looking forward to it since I love Indian food and have never met a chicken tikka that I haven't liked.

But after reading this thread I think I may have gotten a "defective" box. It only had two microscopic pieces of chicken, a few drops of sauce, and 4-5 huge chunks of zucchini. Very soupy and bland. Yuck.

You DEFINITELY got a defective box. I tried it today for lunch and it was really good. I would add more curry powder or something to spice it up, but I like a lot of spice. It had tons of chicken, tons of veggies and a lot of sauce that was not soupy.

Try it again, and hopefully you get a high quality box!
