I made goal this week for a total of 40.3 Lbs. Feels so good to be 3 pants sizes smaller. Been clothes shopping in my own closet and it's thrilling to be able to get into clothes I wore 7 years ago! Couldn't have done it without my fabulous counselor and chief cheerleader, Karen.

JBeltran,

If you are still around - Welcome to the forum. I was on the fence about joining Jenny for several reasons: cost, family, difficulty, etc. but once I went in and saw a consultant, I was SO happy I joined. This is the easiest program for weight loss and I am one of those people who reads every new diet book that comes out. Since I didn't have much weight to lose, I was nervous that it wouldn't keep working consistently each week, but so far, I'm doing fine. I have had my ups and downs, and all of us have days where we just want to quit, but the key for me has been to stick to the meal plan (I make my own using eTools on the JC website), drink lots of water, and I hit the gym 3-4 times per week for 45 minutes alternating rest and workout days. Other than the time committment to work out, which you, my friend, are worth - it can't get much simpler. If you can - I say go for it!

Start: 152.8 / Goal: 120-125
4/6: 149.9 (-2.9)
4/13: 146.6 (-3.3)
4/20: 145.6 (-1.0)
4/27: 144.2 (-1.4)
5/11: 141.6 (-2.6)

Hey Rowdy... you made my day! I'm inspired to see that it can be done! I also had 40 lbs to lose, starting in February. Lost 10 on my own (mostly skipping meals). Since I started Jenny a few weeks ago my weight loss has averaged one lb every 5 days and I have much more energy. By the 1st of the New Year I hope to be posting that I've met my goal of 40 lbs! Even if it takes me til my birthday in March, I'll be thrilled! Congratulations to you & keep up the good work!

Hi,

Congrats!!!!!

I was surfing through my clothes closet yesterday and I don't need to go near shopping centers too soon. Didn't realize it but I have sizes 20 down to size 10 in jeans, dress pants and skirts. I hope to post a similar " made goal" message in a few months (or year). I wonder how many of us have a similar closet?

Oh that's funny! In my closet today I have clothes from 10 to 14. In plastic tubs in the attic I have clothes from size 6 to 10. I quit clothes shopping when I went on Jenny because I'm a 12 now & don't plan to wear a 12 much longer. It's been 10 years since I wore the 6-8 sizes, so I expect everything is out of style & will have to go to Goodwill anyway. But it will be fun looking through those tubs!
