I was so excited when I started in Sept... Then I got very sick in Oct, Nov, Dec. Jan rolled in and I said I would start again in Feb.. March rolled in and I am so hesitant still to get back on track. When the food gets shipped to me and by the time I get it the frozen is soft and I am so worried that it is not healthy to refreeze it. I now am almost back to my original weight. Not good. Not good at all. Anyone of any ideas of how to get the frozen food shipped in a better way> Thanks to all for taking time to reply.

I'm guessing since you have the food shipped to you that there isn't a center close by you can go to?? This is your best bet. I really think even though the food has gotten soft as long as it is still cold enough just freeze it...should be fine.

Start by promising / committing to one full week at 100%. You will be amazed at the results! Don't give up and continue to seek motivation and advice from the boards. The people here are great!!!

Good luck!

If the food is getting to you and it's soft that is something that corporate will deal with. I am a Jenny Direct customer and they have replaced entire frozen orders for me. They are really VERY good at making sure the food is in the best condition when it is delivered.

You need to contact their customer service and work out a better delivery schedule. They do need to know that the food isn't reaching you in the proper condition.

Good luck
Dawn

thanks for the advise.. The closest centre is a normal drive of about five hours one way.. with the deliverytruck it is much longer due to the many stops it has to make. the food is cold when it gets here but not frozen. I am sure there are ice crystals still. Since I was so sick I have lost contact with my support from the centre. I will try to phone her again and see what can be done. Please keep your fingers crossed for me. I really... really... need to lose... one pound at a time.. one day at a time... I just have to get it working again.

I live REALLY out in the Boonies.. upstate NY in the mountains. So far I have Never had a problem with the food arriving defrosted at all. I am thinking it may not be all corporate for you and instead your carrier! They should be planning their routes according to shipments and JC foods have the boxes with all the perishable information right on them so they can't miss them! There was only one time I had a problem and it was a delay of my food by one day due to a storm.. UPS couldn't get here, but my food came the next day and it was still frozen! So your carrier might be really dragging their feet!

I go to a center near my house so I don't know about the food being shipped.

I do know about feelings overwhelmed at times. There are days that I take it one meal at a time and celebrate that I stayed on program for that meal.

Just a suggestion!

You got it, 'BeverlynBama'! A great plan! One day at a time works for me, also! Best of success to you! smile.gif

I didn't just fall off the wagon, I fell under it and it rolled over me. Today is Day 1. Got the courage to go check back in last night. Up some, but not too bad. Ready to take this bull by the horns again. I deserve better than what I've been giving myself - you do too. Don't give up!

Thank you. I too deserve better than what I've been giving myself.. You hit the nail right on the head. We are special. We are women. We are strong. I am up to my start weight ... but... here... tonight... I start again.
Thanks for your encouragement.
You too you tell me had the wagon roll over you. The great thing about the wagon is that it rolls away and allows us to get ourselves back up and in the battle. YOU can and WILL DO IT. I do WILL do it... THE next thing that rolls away from me will be a pound at a time. Thank you for your encouragement
