So I usually eat both asparagus and brussels sprouts at night and use olive oil and then sprinkle garlic salt and load on the pepper and then broil for 20 minutes or so. I am trying to make it healthier without taking away too much taste.
I know I use too much olive oil because its hard to just sprinkle some on.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make them tasty and I love that crunch...

For my asparagus.... I use Olive Oil Pam and broil with salt and pepper. Tonight I actually did a balsalmic sauce - - boiled some balsalmic vinegar with a little truvia (sweetener). I didn't have patience to let it get thick, but I bet it's even better thicker!

For my brussels sprouts, my favorite way to eat them is with a little I Can't Believe it's Not Butter + Lite Soy Sauce. I've also sauteed them (cut in half) with onions and garlic... again with the Pam spray. Delish!

Excited to see what everyone else comes up with since those are two of my favorite veggies!

I second the Pam olive oil spray. It gives a nice flavor without all of the calories and fat. My favorite way to make asparagus is with the Pam olive oil spray, a little crushed black pepper and a little kosher salt and then put them on the grill. Super yum.

Two of my favorites along with shredded cabbage.

I have a 3 cooking sprays: olive oil spray, canola oil spray and butter flavored spray.

For asparagus I spray with olive oil, sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder and fresh black pepper and either grill or roast. For brussel sprouts I prepare the same and roast them. I also like them microwaved in the steamer bags.

For the shredded cabbage I spray a large stir fry pan with cooking spray, poor the cabbage in, add garlic and onion poweder, pepper, sometimes a splash of low sodium soy sauce. I also add around 2 tablespoons water and stir fry until soft. I add cabbage to the beef chow mein and cheese potatoes to volumize it.

I found these are less gassier than some of the other veggies.

I like both asparagus & brussel sprouts with lemon pepper seasoning. I think the one I use if from Mrs Dash. I Don't use pam, but I do use EVOO and have tranferred it over to a clear spray bottle (bought at a kitchen supply store) so that I can contol the spray and see how much I am using.

I blend equal amounts of EVOO, basalmic vinegar and dijon mustard--add a pinch of salt & pepper and roast away.

Now that summer is here, its grilling time! I just toss them on a warm grill on some tinfoil and sprinkle salt, pepper and lemon juice over the asparagus. When your about done toss them sideways on the grill itself for a few seconds and get that charred veggi taste. Mmmm
