Hi All,

My name is Amy, I'm 27 and new to JC. This was my first week and I lost 2.9 pounds, yay! So far, I love the program - the food makes it SO easy. It's expensive, yes, but I'm discovering that the portion sizes, accountability, and not having to stress over cooking are really helping me to ease into this thing without much trouble. I'm so excited to be doing this and hopefully I'll get to goal in no time. I love reading other peoples' experiences and I'm excited to meet you all (or, as we say in Texas, y'all). smile.gif

Start: 152.8 / Goal: 120-125
4/6: 149.9 (-2.9)
4/13: 146.6 (-3.3)
4/20: 145.6 (-1.0)
4/27: 144.2 (-1.4)
5/11: 141.6 (-2.6)

Hey everyone!

I'm Monica (also from Texas) I'm 23 years old and started JC May 6th 2011. I just finished my second week and have lost 8.7lbs!! My family have been having a lot of birthdays this month with many gatherings that include food. My councilor told me about a technique. She told me to eat my portion whether its the JC meal or the small reasonable portion of food that is available with veggies and when I'm done to eat a minty life-saver. This will keep your mouth occupied and if you deside to cheat the food will not taste right. She also recommended drinking a hot drink (coffee or tea) before eating because it will expand your stomach. Even though the JC meals are tasty it has been a struggle for me. My family eats well and I mean really really well, so I need to make a few buddles with the same mind set as me. I would also like to congradulate everyone on their weight loss accomplishments.
