So even with this crappy week....I lost 2 pounds at my WI yesterday! I was shocked. I was expecting less than a pound - I ate totally off plan and bad choices on Wed. And I've had a lot of wine this week. biggrin.gif

Wed was hard. I had a procedure done to check if my fallopian tubes were blocked. They injected dye in there under x-ray. It was VERY painful and caused major menstrual like cramps all day. I went in to work for a couple of hours, ate Claim Jumper comfort food, and then went home at 2 so that I could lay down with a heating pad. I felt awful all day. I got a whopping 2500 steps that day so exercise was shot. And I kept eating poorly - 2 slices of homemade cheese pizza for dinner and frozen yogurt for dessert. Not my best day.

But I am feeling much better now - it went away after getting sleep that night. And it sounds like my test was free and clear so yay!

I was SO SAD that Matt had to go back to Redemption Island. But what I great story it will make when he gets to come back and hopefully win the game! Rob is a monster - he is way too good at this game. Did you love how he named the new tribe? SO FUNNY. And I'm pretty sure Phillip WILL go rogue soon soon soon...the man is nuts.

Way to go Leslie!!! So happy for you ...on both counts (WI and test results). Now that the cramps are gone and your mind is at ease it'll probably be easier to stay on track.

I was saved by my 5 yr old today:) I was about to toss caution to the wind and "take a night off" and go out for dinner with the hubby and kidlet...but MacKenzie looked at me and said, "Mommy...we don't need the calories...I want to eat at home!!" It was so cute how concerned she was..so we decided to stay in:) And I stayed on plan:)

I have to admit, I LOVE Rob:) He's always been my boy! That Mike guy is nice to look at though;)

Good loss Leslie!

yes - the name for the tribe is hialrious, Amber must have ROFL at that one. I really like Rob too - he is not a toad like Russell tongue.gif

Hey Ang - out of the mouths of babes, eh? wink.gif

The scale has barely moved all this week - went up a little for a couple of days and back to where it started for a couple of days - so not expecting much of a loss tomorrow - but do hope it is a loss!

Thursday i did my Leslie Sansone DVD
Today (Friday) I used interval walking/running mixed with interval incline on my treadmill
so that completes 6 days for me - all different! Booyah!
Tomorrow will be back to curves. I want to get back using the ball again too - i have a couple days this week - but it is so challenging for me I want to try and use it more - wait!! Last week Survivor was all about balancing - maybe that could be my challenge?

will post tomorrow after WI, "talk" to you all then!

Blessings,

Ladybug

I gained .5 this week sad.gif
But I had a big loss last week, it's that TOM and I had a very stressful week - so I'm not surprised. I did meet my water challenge! And I plan to continue to drink all that water every day.

.5 gain for me too. sad.gif I start out so well in the week and then something always gets the better of me. I did meet my water loss. It's my birthday this coming week so I already know I have some challenges ahead. Hopefully I can offset it with working out and water!

I didn't do well on the water this week so I didn't make the challenge. sad.gif

Ladybug - BALANCE! Great idea! Let's use that somehow for next week....

I do love Rob because his personality is so funny. And Mike IS definitely nice to look at!

I'll post results probably later this evening and the challenge for tomorrow. It's a beautiful day...gotta get out and do stuff right now. rolleyes.gif

I am very happy to report a loss this week - 1 lb! Yay!! I love updating my tickers - kind of like getting a sticker lol biggrin.gif:P

sorry about the gains - .5 is not so big that it could not just be water retention or something - plan to have a great week next week! Djanson, I did lose my birthday week so keep the faith!

And I made my challenge this week also. Apparently I am very competitive lol laugh.gif

Looking forward to what you come up with Leslie - you are doing great!
Blessings,

Hi everybody!

I made my challenge as well this week. I had a water bottle with me everywhere I went and easily made my 64 oz per day. Exercise was more of a challenge, I was so good for the first part of the week. I got up every morning and hit the hotel gym and did an interval run/walk for 30 - 40 minutes. As the week went by and the situation in Washington didn't seem to be getting better, I found myself laying in bed watching news channels to see if the situation had changed.

Congratulations to all of us on meeting our challenges and for those of you that lost weight. I think the important thing for all of us to remember is that this is a process, and it will take time. Some days will be more challenging than others, but as long as we focus on the big picture (healthy bodies and minds) we will be successful. My eweigh-in is tomorrow night. I'm hoping for the best.

Matt never saw it coming. I think he forgot that Survivor is a game of strategy. Rob is awesome! When David said "Brilliant" during the reading of the votes, he got it right. Rob just needs to keep the numbers and he might actually win this thing!

Okay everyone - I did the tallies for Week 5 - sorry for the delay!

Because we have had 2 Blue team members not post for awhile, I think I will jump ship and join the Blue Team. Sorry Red Team, while it is my favorite color, I think we need to keep the teams even. This way we will be four and four.

Does anyone have any objections?

Tallies here are based on me being part of Blue Team now.

RED TEAM:
dietmama -3.0 - did you make the mini-challenge?
Darbyk +0.5 - did you make the mini-challenge?
All-in-Ang -1.4
Ladybug -1.0 / +1 mini-challenge!

BLUE TEAM:
LoseItIn2011 +0.5 - did you make the mini-challenge?
Lisa Bilz - what was your WI this week? / +1 for mini-challenge!
djanson24 -1.0 / +1 for mini-challenge!
Leslie74 -2.0

The Red Team is still in the lead with a combined weight loss of -4.9 pounds this week! Blue team had a combined weight loss of -2.5 - Way to go everyone!
