I am thinking about starting Jenny Craig. Can you choose your foods? Is frozen food available to everyone, and can you choose what frozen foods you want?

Yes to all of that, I started with the preplanned menu so I would have a variety of things to try, you counselor will ask you if there are any specific foods you do not want, like fish, or eggs. So you can use the preplanned menus, or pick all of your foods it is your choice.

I believe there may be some limitation on what you can order if you are having everything shipped vs. picking up at the centre. I'm sure someone else can answer that.

Thanks for your reply, Marsha. I don't live near any of the JC centers so my food will have to be mailed to me. I have some food allergies so I would like to be able to choose my food instead of having a bunch of food around that I can't eat.
Have you had good success with the JC diet?
Thanks again! biggrin.gif

I have just started I am only on my second day but I am optimistic I like most of the food. the first few days take some getting used to and as with anything it all takes some planning and prep. but I think it will all pay off.

I did NS and lost #20, met my goal. I want to lose about 5-10 more but am unable to do NS anymore because of the food. I recently had surgery and so my food selection is limited. JC looks like it has enough foods that I might be able to eat.
