First Week Complete!

First week under my belt and 4.5 lbs down. I am happy and have found it easy to follow. No counting !!! I am hoping for at least 1 lb a week from here on in....wish me luck!

Janeroo - congratulations! That is an awesome start. A goal of an average of 1 pound a week is a reasonable one, but understand that weight loss is not linear. You will lose more and less over time. When I started, I had 130 pounds to lose, and I averaged 1.5 pounds a week. Average. Because of the enormity of the task I had, I lost over 60 pounds in 5 months, but slowed down considerably after that.

I just want you to celebrate your win, and to applaud your goal. That is how you have to think of it. Good work!

1 lb a week is pretty realistic, but just remember that there will be some weeks where you might not lose any....or may even gain.....thats to be expected actually. Water weight, hormones etc cant be helped......but if you keep your mind in the game, like reddy said, and stay focused/dedicated you WILL lose!!!!

That's great Janeroo! I am in the same place as you, had a significant loss week one (-6 lbs) now hoping it will just stay consistently going down! I'd love to have an on-line buddy, let me know if you are interested.

Just taking it one day at a time, one meal at a time!
