Have fun! I go to Zumba at least 3 times a week since October. It's such a blast! I easily became addicted and burn about 800 calories/class, so that's motivation right there.

I love Zumba! I started about 5 years ago, but then gave up my gym membership a few years ago. I've been back doing zumba 2x a week for the last 2 years. Definitely helps to lose inches in the waist!

Welcome, Niz, from Texas. Anytime I see a thread with the word Zumba in it, I have to jump in biggrin.gif I've been a Zumba instructor for nearly a year and a half now and absolutely love it! I've literally seen it change lives for many of my students. Yesterday one of my morning students was excited to tell me that she has hit the "20 pound mark since she started my Zumba class in October!" Another told me yesterday that she was losing the use of one of her arms and her doctor said if she didn't use it, she'd lose it. She'd been going to the gym for years and then she started my Zumba class this winter. "Look!" she said. "I have regained quite a bit of the use of my arm!" Then she enrolled in the next section. Nothing else seemed to give her back this range of motion like my Zumba class has.

Enjoy!!! Go to the website and find a class near you. www.zumba.com

I'm excited, because my gym just started an Aqua Zumba class ... can't wait to see what that is like! I still have 8 weeks of pottery classes that are going on at the same time, but come June - I can't wait!
