Just signed up today and like every other commercialized weight loss program I've tried...I got to say I'm scared again! I'm scared at failing and not finding what works for me. I've tried Weight Watchers and Lindora. At age 32 and being a newlywed I hate to say but I gained 20lbs since the wedding. Enough, I've been doing great at getting activity in 4 days a week,but I'm not sure if I will get the hang of the program. I'm a snacker and I'm confused after reading some veggies and fruits are not good to eat because of high sugar and carbs..can someone give me a clue what their first days were like. Thanks! wink.gif

I won't sugar coat it. The first days are hard. It will take time to get your body to adjust to eating less food, so you will feel hungry. But honestly, that lasted only about 2 days. Drink lots of water - it helps! I also remember going to bed quite early a few times that first week, so I could sleep away those "hunger pains" which are really "snacking pains".

I found it worked for me to save the JC snack until later in the evening, usually after the kids went to bed, it was my treat at the end of the day.

Welcome CStar!!!

There is really no need to feel scared.....let Jenny do all the thinking. All you have to do is eat whats on your menu, drink your water and exercise......and you WILL lose! It is really a simple plan to follow, but like Becki said....it will take time to adjust. Dont overthink it...just celebrate this time of your life, and enjoy the benefits of eating healthy....a long happy life! smile.gif
