Does anyone else seem to have a hard time understanding the way to post the ticker and also how to post your picture? For the life of me, I have tried and tried and cannot make any sense on how to do this! It would seem that JC could use a more "user friendly" program for those of us who aren't computer savy. Some of you have tried to explain how to do the above, but I still don't know exactly what I am doing. HELP!!

This is going to be long - but I hope it helps. Please e-mail me if you have more questions. If you're like me you may need to print this out or copy the steps on a piece of paper so you can read it while you do it. Switching back and forth between the instructions - different sites - makes this harder to do until you've done it a few times.

For the Ticker
#1 Look through the posts until you see one you like.

#2 Click on it with your mouse

#3 Your computer will take you to the web site where that ticker was made

#4 Read the instructions - Yeah you're going to have to read them. They will have you create an account first - I think - then you get to choose how you want it to look - this takes a few minutes.

#5 Once you've chosen how you want it to look - and it says done or something like that - scroll down to the bottom of that page - sometimes you can't see it - there will be a box with a code in it.

#6 Click in that box and copy the code - if you don't know how to do this - you need to e-mail me or someone else.

#7 Come back here to this web site - and click at the top of the forum where it says My Controls - look for it - it's there and click on that.

#8 This takes you to something called a Control Panel. You will come to a page that has a lot of strange looking stuff on it on the left hand side under Menu - Look all the way down until you get to the part that says Personal Profile and click on Edit Signature.

#9 You will get another strange looking screen that will have a box where you paste in what you copied. Now 'cause I'm not there - follow the instruction and hit save or something that means the same thing.

#10 If this doesn't help you can e-mail me and I'll give you more instructions.

Now that you've found the Control Panel in that same section there is a place for you to put your photo. It's basically the same process other than you pick a photo from within your computer if that's where you've saved what you want - or you can get something from the internet.
