Hello all - I kept up my rebounder while away, and so Tues & Wed made targets. Now I just have to go to Curves 1 more time and keep up the rebounder, and I will be golden.

I am also trying to keep my water at min 8 glasses, and with travelling that has been hard but am at 6 and home now so will just do it! (a la Nike).

Ang - boy 751 was cutting it close! I sometimes find that my display shows slightly different than my upload, has anyone else noticed that?

Leslie - it can be a slippery slope to let in old foods/habits - particulary due to emotional triggers (like stress). BUT as has already been said - we can't (unfortunately) just waive a wand and be transformed! We are transforming however, so look at what happened (triggers, situation, etc) and move on. Personally, I know there is no way that I could buy a pizza, smell it all the way home, and not eat any - are you kidding me???

Lisa - sounds like you are doing great while away - isn't it wonderful nowadays, when most hotels have a fitness room? Sure helps!
Blessings,

Ladybug

Leslie-
Sometimes we just have to give into those cravings! I am right there with you, when I am stressed or over emotional about something, all I want to eat is crap! But, as long as the trend doesnt continue "it aint no thang." wink.gif
Thanks for the pep talk about the laundry! lol Im sure if i did that it would take me hours! But you are right, im sure I will be getting lots of little extra exercise from all the cleaning and things...though the food might counteract that.
Thaks for putting this board together. It is very helpful to talk about the week and share the good and the bad with other like minded individuals. Greatly appreciate it! smile.gif
Keep up the great work everyone!

Hey everyone - thanks for the words of encouragement! That really helped. I know I'm not alone, but sometimes it feels that way so it's nice to know there are those "in the same boat" so to speak.

Lisa - I'm in the Sacramento area! I'd say "Let's go to dinner while you are here" but that just would be counter-productive to what we are trying to do here - LOL

Dietmama - 2.2 pounds down WHILE BEING AT DISNEY? Kudos to you! All of that walking clearly paid off! How could you resist the churro cart and Carnation ice cream? LOL

Nice job LadyBug!

Loseinit2011 - hey - you met it! It doesn't matter by how much. YAY!!!! (When I'm super close to my steps in a day, I have been known to walk around in circles in my living room - LMAO!)

I haven't gone to my WI yet, but I printed out my 7 day summary last night, and I hit a calorie deficit on average of OVER 1000 cal/day (I'm on a 1500 cal menu), and I met or exceded my activity minutes each day. The only target I didn't meet was the steps per day - My goal is 7500 steps/day (and my average right now is 6823), but I'm not sure everything registers - for example when I do a workout video, it barely says I did any steps when I CLEARLY did. So I'm going to say that I am meeting my targets daily for this week - and I'm still drinking my 64 oz of water!

SURVIVOR: Who watched it last night? What the HECK are we going to do with the blind-folded obstacle course / word puzzle challenge? LOL We're gonna have to be creative for next week's mini-challenge! Any ideas?? My initial thought was: a blind-folded obstacle course - you are navigating something new you aren't familiar with. Maybe we all commit to trying a different type of activity than we normally do? Other ideas?

Down 2.2 pounds this week! WOO HOO!!!

Also did my measurements - lost 5.5 inches in the first month! YAY for me! Although, I still don't understand why they don't measure arm and thigh - those would be good to add. We don't hold all of our fat in our mid-sections! LOL

Great WI!

Are those your 3 pups in your picture? They are beautiful dogs.

What about navigating a meal on our own - either at a restaurant for those that may have to eat out, or choosing a Jenny recipe to make for family/friends if you don't?

I echo the thanks for getting this thread going and keeping it going!
Blessings,

Ladybug

Good news: I met my calorie burn goal every day

Bad news: I gained .3 this week. I'm totally bummed. I'm hoping it's just water retention from my dinner last night. It was the only off-program meal I had all week. I got steamed sea bass and spinach but it was in a soy broth. It came with rice which I didn't eat. So between the soy sauce and the diet coke I had I'm hoping it's just water weight and I'll have a bigger loss next week. This is my first gain in 8 weeks. I'm not happy about it.

not a spectacular WI for me this week - but it was a loss - .4! rolleyes.gif Sorry team, I seem to always follow a large loss with a small one, so it is what it is.
But on a more positive note, I did make my challenge for this week with going to Curves today and rebounding everyday. I will do 10 minutes this evening and that completes the challenge for me. biggrin.gif

I have a very challenging week ahead, with multiple off program meals but I will be armed with good choices in my head and keep up my activity to keep up my metabolism, and will log everything into MM website.

Blessings,

Ladybug

Hi everyone,

Sorry, it's been a craxy couple of days and I haven't been posting:(
Unfortunately I didn't meet my challenge (500 skips a day)...but was happy that I met most of the targets for the increased activity level this week (went from a moderate activity goal to an active activity goal).

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!

Leslie, re the survivor challenge...how about we do steps? They were stepping when they navigated the maze. I know it's a stretch...but it was the only thing I could think of!! And I echo everyone else's thanks for starting this thread and keeping it going.

Cheers,
Ang.

Thanks Loseinit - got you down! Great job!

Ang - doing a step goal is a great idea! Maybe we can do that for Week 4 - I'd really like to try and meet a step challenge. Awesome idea. (I already posted the week 3 thread)

Hi All,

I'm sorry this is so late. We didn't get back till late last night. My weighin is tonight, so I will post into the new thread. I didn't make my goal unsure.gif I got in really good exercise every day except for our two travel days to and from Paso Robles. It was tough when we were in the car for 7 hours each way, and even though I walked around every chance I got, it just wasn't really what I would count as exercise. I did eat pretty well the whole time, but we did a bit of winetasting so my calories were over my 1200 a day. Thanks for all the great support.

Leslie, we could certainly meet for dinner one night. We will just have to make some healthy choices.

Lisa

Hi everyone. Sorry it took awhile to log back on...had internet problems all week and also jenny site was doing something strange and wouldn't let me post anything without a name and keycode.

Anyway, was better this week with eating...partly because my mom was out of town, but I'm sure it was due to keeping on top of my media band. Lost 1.4 and I completed the mini challenge! biggrin.gif

Hi everyone, sorry I'm late to post...just had the last family member leave (HOORAYYYY!!!) This weekend was difficult and while I didn't eat all that badly, I did consume a fair amount of alcohol lol! I did however manage to lose 1 lb! I was shocked and happy, but very scared my numbers will go up at my next weigh in. I know most foods, especially alcohol, take about 5 days to show on the scale...yikes! Anyway, I'm back in the game and looking forward to week 3 and the mini challenges! Good luck everyone. smile.gif

Sorry everyone. I've had soooo much trouble getting on the internet since the weekend and when I finally did, I had trouble posting. I was logged on but when I started to post it asked for a name and a password.

Anyway, hope it's not too late. I lost 1.4 last Saturday and I think it was due to the mini challenge of staying within my goals with the media band.
