I have my consult this morning and am afraid to get on the scale. I have completely lost motivation and *know* I've gained this week. Honestly, I haven't been completely OP for the past month, have been playing around with the same couple of pounds. I'm frustrated, bored and ready to give up. Help! sad.gif

Michelle...congrats on your success so far!! Go to you WI and close your eyes and don't let your consultant tell you your wieght. Now ...start from scratch...using week one pre planned menu and start over. Talk to you JCC about your loss of motivation. Keep you eye on the prize! YOU CAN DO this!!!!

Michelle, I say walk in there and face the music girl......you know you havent done well, so expecting a gain sounds realistic. Let this be a lesson learned, and kind of see it as a positive thing. Positive you say? Yes, look at it as a new beginning.....that is if you want to continue on the program, but of course you have to get your mindset right. How do you do that? By getting serious about the other half of your program, getting determined, and focus. I highly suggest reading 100 days of weight loss, if you havent already that is. It is a very encouraging book. I dont think anyone can motivate you....that is only found within YOU. We can all give you encouragement, but motivation comes from determination to get this done....no playing around.

Look at what you have already accomplished...WOW!!!! So you know you can do it right? Ask yourself how important this is to you. Remember how excited you were when you first started? Tap into that mentality.....you can do it again Michelle.

Keep coming here, daily if needed. I know reading everyone elses successes can be painful, but use it as a positive to get your mindset right. Maybe change up your food and your workout routine to make things exciting again, but most of all START OVER.......wipe this off your chart, go into your consultation today and man up...so to speak. Leave your center with a new mindset and dedication to YOUR program. Whenever I mess up, I own up to it and start over.

Read my siggy about motivation.....it really is true.......habits form how you live your life.....whether good or bad.

Michelle, you CAN do this. You are stronger than you think. We have ALL been given the same amount of strength and fortitude.....its how we choose to use it that makes the difference!!!!

I hope you dont take this offensively......I am not trying to be harsh. Have a great weekend girl....and RE-FOCUS smile.gif

Thank you soooo much for the support and encouragement! As suspected, I did gain - 2 pounds. I'm disappointed and frustrated, but only in myself, and perhaps I needed a kick in the butt in order to get seriously back on track.

So, I went back to Week One Planned Menu and am following it to a "t." I know I can do this, I just have to get my head & body back on track! smile.gif

Yay for you Michelle!!!!

In all reality, 2 lbs is not all that bad girl. I know its alot easier to put it on than take it off, but doing the planned menus and refocusing, you should good to go!!!!!!!!

I lost 83 lbs. with JC and I can honestly, I had weeks like you. I did not take it to mean I would not finish what I start. Keep at it!

I have lost 89 pounds with Jenny Craig! Started at 306 and my final goal is 200!

Michele, I'm going to push on you a little. smile.gif YOU need to take some credit here. Your motivation isn't just "showing up" -- you went looking for it, you're taking steps to get back on your way. Motivation isn't some wind that just blows through. Yes, sometimes it's dam* hard to find, but WE are in a position to cultivate our motivation. YOU are doing this!

I'm glad you're feeling much better. I have a feeling this will end up being a detour that helps your journey in the long run.

That is a great point, NorthShoreGirl. I think motivation is all about having an internal locus of control. When you are empowered, taking control, and accepting responsibility for the decisions you make, you feel motivated.

When you aren't motivated, it is usually when you are feeling like a victim of circumstance. You feel helpless and out of control, and allow things to derail your plans rather than fighting to protect your program.

Seize control of your life, and don't surrender it!

JoJoJosie,

I am new here and started in October. I have made it past half way but am losing my motivation and started to "cheat" over the holidays. I am trying to get back on track and noticed you have "P90" on you weight loss ticker - is that the exercise program? If so, how is it working for you?
