I just started the program last week. It is a bit of a mindset. The first week was very hard for me. On the boards I have read lots of people who lost 5 lbs in the first week. I wasn't even able to stick with the plan for the first week. Invitations to things as well as stress seemed to get in between me and my goals. I feel like a failure for not doing well in the first week. You have to give yourself credit, you managed to stick with it for a while and lost weight. You should be proud of that. I'm speaking as someone who is envious of you being able to accomplish that goal. Hang in there. You have inspired me to refocus and remember why I joined Jenny. Every day is a new beginning. You did it once before, you just have to find the strength to continue. Until your back feels better try to find things you can do sitting down like arm circles or arm curls without weights. You can also lift one leg at the knee and then the other. You will be amazed how fast you'll get tired just doing that. It is important to try. If you keep trying just a little each day, eventually you will start to get the hang of it and feel better. I felt awful tonight and went onto the live chat for the first time and no one was there so I started looking at the boards and found you post. Everyone's words of encouragement to you helped me and your accomplishment of the 32 lbs is inspiring. Keep at it. We can both burn off the weight. Thank you for your post.
