Hi all, I never posted before so here goes. I started Jenny Craig the end of December. I am 64 years old and have been overweight since my early 30's. I am now down 28 lbs and have lost almost half of the weight I need to loose. I love wearing clothes to work that I have not worn before. Everyone thinks that I went on a shopping spree but to tell you the truth I have 3 different closets at home with different sizes in each one. I think this is the greatest weight loss program of all time.

Hey, Welcome...I am glad you decided to post smile.gif There are a great bunch of people here to help cheer you on. So far so good on the weight loss. 28 pounds down, I bet you do feel great. It is so nice putting on clothes you though would never fit you again. I bought some jeans and only got to wear them once...then to big. After that I was more careful about the clothes I purchased.

Good luck on your journey and post again to let us know how it is going!

Welcome to the forum Dipre!!!!!

Like Reddy said, there are some great ppl here to support you, and you will love the encouragement everyone gives.

28 lbs is AWESOME.....keep up the great work and before you know it, you will have to go on a real shopping spree due to the clothes in those 3 closets are too big wink.gif

Hi

I am 61 years old. I started back on Jenny Craig about 10 days ago. I never gained all back, but now would like to lose remaining weight. This last week I lost 6 lbs....yoooorah! It is March 13th today and I feel much better than two weeks ago. I can tie my boots and not have to come up for air...lol...before tyeing my other boot....lol. No laughing matter either. I have been working out with (66 year old) Joyce Vedral weight lift tapes for over four months now at 5 to 6 days a week. As she says...if no muscles (or should I say TONE) showing...T H E N....you are overweight. I am seeing some tone on back, arms, butt and my shoe size went down a size...not to mention in size eights now that 6 lbs off me. I am a new wife and live in the country. I am clearing land one to two days a week...a great workout in itself. So I have increased my ability to burn fat. My goal is to lose another 14 lbs by July of this year. We all can do our goals!!! My BMI is 4 lbs short of normal...almost there!!!!
