All the personilization is gone from this program since they are paid on commision. What a very dissapointing meeting for me and my first ever in Jenny Craig Center. They were all about the money....very sad.

You see, your center has it all wrong. My JCC makes me feel like a million bucks, he treats me like a queen. That is the way you keep people around...he is always very cheerful and always makes you feel like you are the most important person he is dealing with. I always look forward to my Monday call. Drop a bug on your JCC's ear, you catch more flies with honey~

My JCC also makes me feel wonderful. She listens and is helpful. I don't mind she is paid a commission, WW leaders and staff as well. When I was a leader that is where most of my income came from, but it never took away from my mission to help members and try and be inspiring to them.

It is disappointing that you have encounter this, but this is just one center of many. There are also advantages to them receiving commission..advantages to YOU. If you are having a problem with the centre, call in to Jenny HQ and they will address the problem since they are paying commissions. I am not sure I think it's unfair that they get commissions, with their type of jobs they do need incentives, think about it for a moment, they are doing sales, support, etc I think it's pretty standard. But .. I do not think it's standard or proper that they are looking at you with dollar signs. I would wait for another consultation before really forming your opinion OR contact JC HQ immediately.

Hey, wait a minute... I've been a Jenny Craig client for a year and a half and this is the first time I've heard that the JCC work on commission...is that why my JCC is telling me I should not do meals on my own????
I have only 8lbs more to go. uh-oh. How did you find this out?

I too have problems with my JCC. I feel like everything she does or talks about is to get me to buy something extra. And I get the stink eye because I do breakfasts and snacks on my own and try to do one lunch or dinner on my own per week. It is VERY clear that my JCC doesn't really care about me and really cares about getting paid.

I have to say my center is awesome. They have worked with me through financial difficulties, when I was unable to buy JC foods they told me, "come in still for your WI we will talk about MOMO and how to stay on track". It sucks to hear that some of you had bad experiences. Hope it gets better.

If they help you to reach your goal weight -- then wouldn't it be worth them earning big bucks? As someone who has met their goal and currently maintains -- I don't begrudge my JC consultant any extra coin.

My center in Brookline, MA is all about the money and terrible service. My first 6 weekly visits ran me through 5 different JCCs (on two occasions, one of them was more than 15 minutes late arriving to the center), none of whom seemed at all interested in me. Finally the only JCC (in my opinion) that actually cared has left for a new job. I am not interested in any of the remaining JCCs, which sucks because I know it should be possible to have a support system. Alas, I am on my own. This center has been terrible for me, though others surely have had more positive experiences.

My 'ugh' moment on this JC website, winding up by accident on somebody's profile, when it is the farthest from my intention and mind! That is my disapppointment in myself, for this day! LOL! Do agree with the JC centers being only interested in how much food they can sell you. Some of the JCC's are really great. Since I have moved south, I have found some wonderful centres, although I only check in minimally, these days.
Wishing everyone the very best success in their weight loss journeys!

I have only gone twice to my center, one time to join and my 2nd weigh in was last Tuesday, tomorow will be my third weigh in. I remember that last week my JCC offered me they Protect Vitamins and was like this is soo good for you and blah blah blah and I bought them + my food and ended up spending $150! I hope tomorow I just walk out of there with my food. However, I think the problem with the JCCs is that they are being pressured to get piad on comission and if you have all these ladies and gents on MOMOs and only buy $50 to $80 worth of food then thats bad for them, it's like any job. My dad worked selling cars and same thing no sales no $$$. And I sell Mary Kay make-up on the side and if I don't make sales then well I don't get paid either so yes I can relate to them buut can they not be rude or treat us coldly when we don't spend those $100s of their JC foods would be NICE!!!

I agree, I think they are all talking about me! I didn't get the consultant I wanted, every week they have me with someone else. Always pushing something extra.
