I like the fresh ones, too... and I roast them in the oven with a little balsalmic vinegar. I roast them until they are brown and tender, after cutting them into quarters. DELISH!

[color="#800080"]I didn't think I like Brussel Sprouts untill I tried this. It was delicious!!! I roasted them in the oven with some olive oil and seasoning (mrs Dash, no added salt) then out some pepper on them. They tasted sooo good even my husband was surprised!!!
Thanks guys for all the great ideas![/

I have never in my 38 years on earth tried a brussel sprout...but now I am thinking that I will give them a try. What do they taste like? I mean does the taste compare to any other food? The funny post about throwing them at people made me smile!

They taste like little, mini cabbages. I loved them as a kid and I still do but my favorite brussel sprout recipe includes bacon so I'll have to try some of the other ways to eat them. :)

I love, love, love brussel sprouts! I cut them in half and roast them with a little olive oil spray. The inside is tender with a few crunchy leaves on the outside...heaven to me. Of course I never met a vegetable that I didn't like.
