Someone started a thread a few days ago about a powered peanut butter. Look back a few days to see if you can find it...I don't remember the name of it though.

Either of these seem to work just fine. As for your veggies, why not just eat a low fat dip with them and count it as your fat serving?

Hi SeaBird!
I am "flowering" and I am learning how to do the meal on my own (MOMO) and day on my own (DOMO) days so that I can make my very own Jenny Craig approved menus. -So, I have homework every week. I have to make menus for 2 days, which I get to actually use the next week. -It is exciting because no food is "off limits" to me anymore, including peanut butter!!!!!! Wow!!!!! We get 2 fat servings allowed per day. (--each fat serving is 5g of fat, which is approximately 45 calories)--See Pg. 71 of the SUCCESS MADE SIMPLE book, by Jenny Craig.
My JCC made me a "cheat sheet" that I can carry with me; make up into little cards, and so on...
-Here is what she put on the "cheat sheet" -so I don't have to worry about memorizing this stuff:
(1) FAT: 1 fat =5g
(2) STARCH: 1 starch=15g
(3) MEAT: 1 meat=7g
-She then explained that carbs are called "STARCHES", in the Jenny Craig plan, and, protein (including cheese) are called "MEATS".
-She also explained, and showed to me in the Jenny Craig Halfway Success Guide, what our daily allotment is for the 1200 calories per day plan--which is what I am on:
2 FATS
3 MILKS
5 MEATS
2 FRUITS
5 STARCHES
PLUS, 3 FREE FOODS (-meaning the usual 3 LIMITED ONES that we have always been allowed)
-And of course, ALL the absolutely free ones that we want--as in non-starchy veggies, etc.)
****NO COUNTING OF CALORIES NEEDED HERE--YEAH!!!!! *****
I often crave Peanut Butter and plan to use it in cooking and look on food labels for it as well as just eating it on toast in the morning or right off the measuring spoon (SMILE)
--Of course you can add it to your veggies or oatmeal or whatever!
--Hope all this helps! I want to encourage everyone to stick to the Jenny Craig plan and reach that
wonderful halfway goal (-Halfway to your goal weight). No kind of food is off limits if you follow the Jenny Craig way!!)
-And, by the way, you'll lose weight, too!!!!!!!! -So, far I have lost 44 lbs. and still going after 10 months. I am learning to make this my lifestyle forever.
-NEVER BE FAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!
Hugs,
Patty ("flowering")
