Oh, I'm so very excited! I will lose 50 pounds. I will! I'm worth it! Going every Friday to be weighed and keep on track. That and this support community will help tremendously. No doubt, no negativity...I will be a LOOZA! Who's with me?

Welcome to JC and welcome to the board. Good luck as you begin your journey. I'm shocked how fast of a journey it has been for me, I'm at maintenance in 5 pounds. That's truly unbelievable to me, who has been overweight since high school. I'm now 39 and weigh less than when I graduated.

Water, water, water. It will help. I also remember the first few days going to bed early, just so I could not feel hungry. That goes away. Carrot fries -they're delicious. I may whip up a batch tonight. Search the forum for the recipe. And fill up on the veggies. They didn't used to be my friends - now they are, some more than others.

Good luck.
Becki

Welcome and hoping that you are doing OK at the start of your Jenny program. Any questions, just ask! smile.gif

You sound really excited to start this journey. As long as you keep up that enthusiasm, and listen to your consultant, you will do just fine smile.gif Welcome and good luck!

Nanny fantastic that you joined.

Everyone on here had a day 1 and you can see that those days add up and those pounds do come off. Keep your focus and your enthusiasm and one day at a time.

I had to learn to eat slower so as a tool I kept all my desserts and the anytime bars frozen and ate them out of the freezer (that takes a much longer time to eat and longer time to enjoy them). In between each forkful of food, put your fork down. Enjoy the food and it makes you eat slower. This is a great tool that will be something that I will continue throughout the rest of my life. My excuse for eating fast was always I didn't like my food getting cold and honestly when you are eating much larger portions that can happen but no problemo now, I can reheat my container and basically the human portion I needed to exist doesn't get cold even with the slowed down eating.

Drink the water and keep track of the water very easily by getting a big 1.5 liter bottle of water and drinking two of them a day. I get the one down from morning until lunch time and start on the 2nd one with lunch.

Focus, focus focus.... smile.gif Make 1/2 way your focus and stay on those menus every single day.

Good luck smile.gif
