I was told by corporate to post my complaints because someone there actually reads them, so here goes.
The vegetable chicken pot stickers were my absolute favorite JC food & I was told this morning that it no longer available. Seriously upset about this. JC should NOT take away food options, only add to them. I have a lot of weight to lose & therefore will be on program for some time, hard to think I will have to do it without my potstickers. Also, you need a new salad dressing. JC used to have an Asian dressing that was great. I am getting sick of ranch & don't like the other.

Hi Maria,
The reason that we don't keep all the items that are brought out is really just a case of space. We only have so much freezer space; So to keep some of the new popular items they usually get rid of older products with waning popularity. Try calling around to other local centres, and stock up if you can!

jc did not take away the potstickers..the company who provided the ingredients for the inside of the potstickers no longer makes it.. can't keep a food item if ingredients are not available

I miss them too :-( They were one of my favorites. My only complaint is that it seems like lately alot of things are being taken away, and there isn't enough NEW things replacing them? I wish there were some new lunches that would become permanent, and also dinners and snacks. For those of us who are on the program for a year or so, it could get very boring. I still haven't gotten bored yet which is great....and I have been doing this for 6 months now almost, but I DO get sick of the lunch choices. There really isn't many!

I agree. The food gets boring to fast when you need alot of weight to lose. I am allergic to cheese and most of the items have cheese. I feel like I am getting of track because I keep eating the same things. I went on JC 2 years ago and the food choices were 150% better. Back on again but not happy.

I agree. I began to get bored with the food 3 months in to the program, and this greatly affected my progress. I'm now getting back on track after almost 2 months of absoloute failure.

I agree. I loved certain item when I started a year ago the Maple oatmeal was great and I didn't have to guess on the portions or the added items and how much to use. I have a real problem with portion control. I can not look at something and say oh that 3 ounces or a 1/2 C. And all the visual they tell us to use do not work for me. You should see the size of MY deck of cards LOL laugh.gif
I would like more variety in the type of carbs. Over the past two weeks (planned menu's 2 &3) I had 5 pasta dishes for dinner (would have been 6 but they have dropped the penne pasta even though it is still on the menu). That means 1/3 of my dinners over a two week period of time contained pasta. Don't get me wrong I enjoy pasta, just not every week, two to three times a week. Even when I am not dieting I don't eat that much pasta. There are other forms of carbs out there that could be offered; potatoes, rice, peas, lima beans, butter beans, baked beans, corn, risotto, squash (acorn, butternut etc) they are all high carb veggies that are also nutritous and would add variety to the meal choices.
I miss the pot stickers also I loved them! And, even after the above paragraph, they have dropped my beloved penne pasta. Wahhh sad.gif

I agree with you about the cheese. Thankfully I am not allergic, but I don't like it. Almost everything has cheese in it!

I'm on board with the new foods/old foods.

They introduce some new foods and I see on these boards how much everyone loves them, then they take them away. I was one who really liked the Veggie Quesadilla. If I had known it was going to be around for such a short period of time, I would have bought tons of them! Maybe someone in my Centre knew they were short-timers, but just didn't pass it on to me.

I'm not allergic to the cheese, but I agree there is too much of it. I buy the Omelet for breakfast, nuke it for about 20 seconds and then scrape off the top layer of all that cheese. I've tried doing the same with the enchilada.

To the OP - as for the salad dressing issue -- I've never bought those anyway. There are too many alternatives in the store. I'm a fan of the Wishbone Spritzers. I buy them at Target. They come in several flavors, and are only 10 cals for 10 sprays.

JC used to have a veggie burger that I thought was very tasty. Is there any chance that you could bring it back?
Also, I like the salad kits since they are easy to take when you don't have a fridge and a short break for lunch. But...they are so hard to open! I ahve broken many a nail just trying to get the paper top off. I finally have to get a knife and plunge it into the cardboard.

Thanks for listening.

I UNDERSTAND HOW YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO KEEP CHANGING THE MENU BECAUSE PEOPLE GET TIRED OF THE SAME THING, BUT HOW DO YOU INTRODUCE THE BEEF & CHEESE SLIDERS AND TAKE AWAY THE QUESADILLAS?????

They are adding a breakfest pizza florentine which I think means spinach of sorts. That should be out in august. They are also brining back the cinnamon rolls, and the artichoke quasidilla (sp?) they just have to find a way to repackage because the crisping sleeve wasnt working properly. So there are a few things to look forward to!
