The vegetable chicken pot stickers were my absolute favorite JC food & I was told this morning that it no longer available. Seriously upset about this. JC should NOT take away food options, only add to them. I have a lot of weight to lose & therefore will be on program for some time, hard to think I will have to do it without my potstickers. Also, you need a new salad dressing. JC used to have an Asian dressing that was great. I am getting sick of ranch & don't like the other.

The reason that we don't keep all the items that are brought out is really just a case of space. We only have so much freezer space; So to keep some of the new popular items they usually get rid of older products with waning popularity. Try calling around to other local centres, and stock up if you can!

jc did not take away the potstickers..the company who provided the ingredients for the inside of the potstickers no longer makes it.. can't keep a food item if ingredients are not available

I agree. I began to get bored with the food 3 months in to the program, and this greatly affected my progress. I'm now getting back on track after almost 2 months of absoloute failure.

I would like more variety in the type of carbs. Over the past two weeks (planned menu's 2 &3) I had 5 pasta dishes for dinner (would have been 6 but they have dropped the penne pasta even though it is still on the menu). That means 1/3 of my dinners over a two week period of time contained pasta. Don't get me wrong I enjoy pasta, just not every week, two to three times a week. Even when I am not dieting I don't eat that much pasta. There are other forms of carbs out there that could be offered; potatoes, rice, peas, lima beans, butter beans, baked beans, corn, risotto, squash (acorn, butternut etc) they are all high carb veggies that are also nutritous and would add variety to the meal choices.
I miss the pot stickers also I loved them! And, even after the above paragraph, they have dropped my beloved penne pasta. Wahhh

They introduce some new foods and I see on these boards how much everyone loves them, then they take them away. I was one who really liked the Veggie Quesadilla. If I had known it was going to be around for such a short period of time, I would have bought tons of them! Maybe someone in my Centre knew they were short-timers, but just didn't pass it on to me.
I'm not allergic to the cheese, but I agree there is too much of it. I buy the Omelet for breakfast, nuke it for about 20 seconds and then scrape off the top layer of all that cheese. I've tried doing the same with the enchilada.
To the OP - as for the salad dressing issue -- I've never bought those anyway. There are too many alternatives in the store. I'm a fan of the Wishbone Spritzers. I buy them at Target. They come in several flavors, and are only 10 cals for 10 sprays.

Also, I like the salad kits since they are easy to take when you don't have a fridge and a short break for lunch. But...they are so hard to open! I ahve broken many a nail just trying to get the paper top off. I finally have to get a knife and plunge it into the cardboard.
Thanks for listening.
