Do we have a thread like this open here yet? I didn't see one. So anyway, welcome to the 200+ Coffee Shop--serving coffee, tea, JC's Cinnamon French Toast, and companionship, 24-7. =big grin= Come in and sit a spell: tell us all about your day, your week, your journey underway!

Thanks, Melissa, for the encouragement you gave me. I'm thrilled to report that of yesterday's weigh-in, I'm on my way: my little sailboat has set off on its voyage. I'm no longer fretting about having gained back the first 100# I lost: my husband was clinically depressed, I was stressed out, what's done is done.

I think that for the time being, I'm not going to get the Metabolic Max. I can't decide whether it's my style (because I do like gadgets) or not my style (because I prefer to make my own decisions about how much exercise I need). Anyone else in our size category have MM experience? I'm curious to hear whether the armband is uncomfortable, and whether it's accurate at our size.

Here's a "moment of Zen" (as Jon Stewart puts it).

So how's things with the rest of you?

I'll come by here - I have to lose 100 lbs. So far I'm down 4. This is my second week on JC. Not going so bad - it's quite easy...compared to other programs I've tried.

Hello,
I am using the MM armband. I do like the information from it, however, I am very concerned about wearing it this summer. I don't know if I should purchased a larger band, this one fits and it doesn't bother me but my arm fat kind of folds over it a bit, not a lot but I notice it. It's fine for now because I am wearing sweaters, but I'm way to self conscience to wear it with a t-shirt. So that's the only down-fall. I wish there was one we could wear around our wrist so it wouldn't be so noticable. Good luck on the program. This is my sixth week, my last WI I gained .4 not fun. I know the program is easy, but I'm still finding it difficult at times.
