Salad Alternative for Lunch

I have a question about salads. Part of my problem is that I really don't like veggies of any kind, except tomatoes and starchy veggies. I can't imagine eating tomatoes every day as a substitute and making a salad at work is a pain.
I want to make sure I get some fiber mid-day to stave off the hunger pangs and am looking for some help on an alternative.
Thanks!

My best suggestion is to talk with your counselor. You may be at a calorie level where you could eat small portions of the limited veggies.
Hope that helped!

I was dealing with the same when I got burned out on veggies. I started drinking V8. My counselor advised sticking with the low salt version which can be kinda bland so I would get the low salt and the Spicy and mix them. It added the kick I liked but still kept the sodium under control.

I happened to love salads so i eat them everyday. I always put green olives, chopped squash or broccolli , tomoatoes to it. It sure helps. But yet, I do get tired eating salad, so i switched to V8 low sodium. Not bad at all..

This topic a bit outdated but wanted to add my 2 cents.
Don't like salads?
How about some steamfresh veggies with spices?
If you can microwave at work (or if you're at home), you can always have a frozen veggie instead. How about a box veggie like chopped spinach or broccoli? Add the garlic powder or some Mrs. Dash to spice it up without added fat and enjoy! Nobody says you have to have a salad but the veggies is to fill you up and add the fiber and good nutrients.
Bon Appetite!
