The exchange for dinner is 4 meats, 2 Starches, 1 fat and 1 veg.
I had 4 oz pork tenderloin, 2 rolls that fit the criteria, green beans, carrots

I was supposed to eat JC fish and chips. Did I do this exchange correctly?! Kind of nervous and I already ate it!

Seems ok, but it would depend on the size of the rolls. Most rolls would be 2 starches, but if they were small... perhaps? It should be 80-100 cal, about equivalent to a SMALL piece of bread (thin, not the super thick "deluxe" ones tongue.gif)

When you eat a meal on your own, add TONS of veggies! One of my best decisions was to take an old Cincinnati Chili recipe and add vegetables and beans to it. The more fresh produce you use, the more of it you can eat! By adding beans and low-fat organic ground turkey (sometimes I even hold the turkey), I get chili loaded with protein! To push those veggies, I add an entire bag of frozen mixed vegetables to it. Let it simmer all day in a crock pot and you have an instant meal! You will not get hungry waiting for dinner to be done. I rarely ever add cheese or sour cream (but you could - fat free, of course). It is so yummy, I don't miss them!

I just have a quick question. I am a new member. How do you know what the substitutes for breakfast, lunch and dinner are?
