Hi I am looking for a buddy to help me keep motivated and lend me support. I am a divorced mom of 4 and have 100 lbs to lose. I hope there is someone out there who is willing to do this with me. Let me know!!!

I just joined JC and have 70lbs. to lose. How do people become buddies? Do we keep in touch and help one another with encouragement/motivation? I'd love to have a buddy/be someone's buddy. I need all the motivation I can get! I am a new mother, and I'm trying to shed baby weight and "relationship weight" that I've put on over the years being with my husband. My hubby is supportive to an extent, but I don't think he really understands this. My mom is no help as every time I mention the diet she insists I won't stick with it, and that I love food to much to do this. :/ Grrr, it makes me so angry! Anywho, let me know about this buddy situation. I wouldn't mind making a new friend in this journey!

HI I have rejoined on 1/2/11 and I have about 70 lbs to lose myself. My freinds and I go to the gym all the time and workout, dance etc but they are so much thinner than I am. I feel so overwelmed with this struggle of trying to loose weight. Lets all be buddies to help motivate and encourage each other . Do we just speak through emails or blogs . This is the first time that I have joined a blog. Funny story my centre kind of scolleded me today because I have called the centre so much in just weeks that they believe I am stressing way to much. Im sure I left an impression on them LOL well gotta run talk to you soon

hi ladies.
i also have about 70 lbs or more to lose and would love buddies. i was thinking of starting a thread soon for the january 2011 starters. maybe that way we could keep going to that thread and stay in touch over the months.
right now i'm very motivated and am feeling great about the program but will know there will be small bumps and bigger blocks ahead.
i'm a mom of two little ones that keep me very stressed so focusing on myself is a big step.
how are you guys enjoying it so far?

Week 2: -3.2
Week 3: -3.0 (TOM & cold!)
Week 4: -2.6 (-8.4")
Week 5: -2.6 (another cold!)
Week 6: -.8 (???)
Week 7: -3.0 (TOM!)
Week 8: -.6 (Who cares? ONDERLAND!!!)
Week 9: -2.2 (after Disney!)
Week 10: -4.0 (after New Orleans!!!)
Week 11: -.6 (short week & TOM)
Week 12: -3.0 (Wahoo!)
Week 13: -.6 (result of not working out. ready to step it up)
Week 14: -2.0 (worked out 5 times!)

Week 16: -1.6 (tough emotional weeks and thankful for the losses)
Week 17: -0 (not quite a mature response but denying and moving forward)

I am looking for a diet buddy, just joined today! I have about 100 pounds to loose also, I would like a budddy through this process! Let me know if you are still looking!
