my twins will be 3 in a few weeks. i've been trying to lose weight for 18 months (including a year on weight watchers!). i really need the "supervision" that jc provides, as well as the prepared meals. and tracking my foods is nearly impossibly w/my life, so jc seemed perfect for me!.... but i'm finding it sooo hard. i'm in my 3rd week and still feel like i'm starving much of the time. will i get past that at some point?!
also, i just can't beleive that the lbs arent rolling off of me yet (lol). it seems like i'm eating so much less than i used to. plus, i work out a pretty decent amount (4-5 hours/week)... how do you stay motivated!?
thanks, mommas!

Hi,
It does get better past 3 weeks..eventually your body does get used to eating smaller portions and also your stomach shrinks so when you are eating those same small meals that now make you feel still hungry you will be full. I am joining jenny again after having two babies in 3 years and it is hard for me to get back and say I need help again as I thought I had learned everything I needed to know several years ago when I joined jenny the first time. I was my happiest in everyway those couple of years after jenny before my children were born. I just don't want to waste anymore time hoping and wishing because the only thing that is going to change this is my motivation to be motivated to loose the weight and be healthy for myself and then for my family... This is for me... This is for YOU. Others will benefit though if you are in a happy place with yourself. Keep it up and turn that 3 weeks into 4 weeks. Keep on your path. Good luck.

I am new .. going on my fourth weigh in this Saturday..but I also have a 3 year old and joined JC in November.
I eat a bunch of the carrots, and free foods - throw in a sugar free jello.. but I did notice some days I am hungry and eat more foods and some I am not. So i think we will get used to the portions soon enough.
I know i am definitly getting used to the scale bumbers and inches going down down down

kari, i do eat all the free foods i can. i wish i had time to cook/grill more veggies. and i need to do some of those carrot fries everyone talks about;). i don't do well w/fake sugars so i don't actually drink diet sodas or make jello, which probably makes things harder (though i do buy the jello and sprinkle a little on cottage cheese sometimes. that helps!).
lynn, i'm sure it's hard going back to what you thougth you already knew--but after you have kids everything changes so much anyways! i think it's great you came back and i'm sure you'll do even better because now you know what you're in for;). thanks a bunch for the pep talk!
all in all, though, the challenge is finding time for myself: time to do things like get my yogurt/fruit snack ready every day, make my salads, plan my meals, etc. and, i do work out a lot but it's been harder the past few months cuz my children really don't like going to the gym w/me any more (blah, blah, blah, sorry for going on and on!).... though, things are getting easier. i've only lost 5lbs in 4 weeks but i'm really proud i've done even that!
thanks again, ladies!
