I would love to find some internet buddies to help me stay motivated. I have been on Jenny for 3 weeks, with 2 weigh-ins under my belt. Have lost 6.2 lbs to far. Have been exercising 6 days a week and staying on program, but am afraid of my stick-to-it-tiveness over the long haul. Am hoping that finding 2-3 buddies to slog through this process with me will make all the difference.

Hi Carol,

I am new to the program; just started today. Can you give me any advice on how to keep the motivation going?

Congrats on your great start! I'm getting the Metobolic Max upgrade in the next week or 2. My first weigh in was good. I will give you some of my motivation! Until I get my armband I will concentrate on food. I am staying on plan with all my meals except my fruits and vegetables. I guess that's alot to to be missing. This weekend I'll stock up on the F&V. lol

Good luck this week.

Hi, Carol! I check in here most Saturdays. I am an at home client and in week 22. Does any of that sound like it would be buddy material? I look forward to hearing from you. See ya and take care!

I just started yesterday 1/15/11. I would like an internet buddy for support too. I have done WW off and on and not been successful. I used WW etools. I decided to try JC because my daughter is doing it and I wanted to try something different. There were so many people on the WW etools group it was overwhelming to read the posts. Some people were at goal and just on maintainance some were still trying to lose the weight. It was hard to feel support. I would just like a few people to chat with. I feel that this is a new journey for me. I'm trying to change my lifestyle. I realize this is not a start and stop thing. I am going to have to do something to keep my weight down for the rest of my life.

This is just my second day.

How is it going for you today and is anyone else posting with you yet?

I've been on Jenny now since September - I need something new to keep me motivated and I'd love a buddy.

If interested let me know - maybe we can exchange e-mail's as well to keep each other motivated.
I'm married in wny - in my early 50's and have been doing really well on the plan.

Hope someone would like to try this out!

Hi my name is Cindy

I started on 1/14/2011 and into my 5th day. I have been on JC a few times but of course the cost is what always makes me leave. Luckily now that won't be an issue. I can already feel the difference in just 5 days and would love to have a buddy as well. My life is busy, I have a 30 year old who is having her first baby, a 27 year old who has a 7 month old and a 14 year old who is in theater, so planning time to eat is an issue a lot of the time. Saturday was my hardest day as we were at rehearsals from noon until 9pm.

What is your goal? Mine is 80 pounds. I saw the Christmas picture from my husbands banquet and that made up my mind.

If you would like to be buddies let me know, my email is cinfelts@yahoo.com.

Cindy

Ladies, stick to this program. It works! I have been on maintenance now for over a year and I still use many of their principles. I have worn a BodyBugg for 69 weeks now and it has helped me stay motivated. I'm thinking my Bugg is the same thing as your MM armband.

Come to the MB often. Make a list of things you can do when you get hungry INSTEAD of eating! Good books, flavored water, solataire, walk, marching to commercial breaks on TV. It all works. Stay with that exercise and you WILL see amazing results.

Good luck.
50+ pound weight loss and into maintenance. It's been an exciting road and well worth the effort.

Here's to weight loss and a new life!

Hi Baby B Grandma and everyone else!!!!
Well, no one has emailed me but I did get a message today from you, Baby B, and it was directed to everyone as it is the above message. -That's fine. I am so proud of all of you who have been very determined and for not giving up and for your stick to it no matter what attitude, even if you cheat a day or so!!!!!! -It is like if you fall off a horse, you must get right back on!!!! I never allow myself to go hungry in the first place, everybody. We are not being practical to allow hunger to interfere in this process!!! Jenny Craig wants us to keep our metabolisms going with mini meals called "snacks" and also breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My JCC said that is VERY IMPORTANT for the fat burning process!!!!
-You MUST eat every 3 hours -except when you are sleeping. -I eat every 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Listen to your body's signals for actual hunger.Never eat for any other reason than hunger. But, if you are not hungry and it is time to eat, then you must make yourself eat a little anyway! -Never miss a meal on purpose. Jenny Craig has given us a plan with 6 meals a day. Follow this plan and remember to add Free foods (see back of your menus). Also, this plan truly does work, with even mild exercise! I am living proof of that!! Years ago I had a personal trainer at the gym help me out for free as she was my husband's personal trainer and very kind to us both. So, I "pumped her for information" all the time. I was impressed that she said NOT to overwork your muscles and that you can work out for as little as 3 days a week and to do activity every day that gets your heart working harder -cardio, as in faster paced walking (as fast as you personally can and be able to carry on a conversation). Keep active and "don't sweat the small stuff". Don't be cruel to yourself or punish yourself. Ever! -Enjoy life and stay active. Bad weather??? Get a wii or something. -I go to the mall and do mall walking anywhere from 2 to 5 times a week. -Our mall has special hours for mall walkers like myself. Now opens at 6:30 AM just for the public to come in and walk for exercise. It's free and all ages invited! I wear 2 1/2 lb. wrist weights now and walk with my elbows bent instead of swinging down at my sides. -Protects against joint damage and makes you work harder... I lose weight faster now that I have those things (-got them at Target)!!!!! I have been on Jenny Craig for 10 months now and I have lost 44 lbs. I am learning how to do the meal on my own and day on my own things. It is very exciting and I am a changed woman for sure! So, keep it up, everyone. Pace yourself -it's not a race. This is for the rest of your life!!!!
Hugs,
Patty ("flowering")

Hi everybody! My name is Mary. I am 52. I have a LOT of weight to lose. 64 or so more to go. I would love to be part of a support system! I want to stay motivated. I have lost weight in the past doing WW, LA weight loss, but then of course I gained it all back and then some! I am hoping that JC will teach me portion control. I love the program, but I wished that I could boost my weight loss week to week. I lose SO slow! Lets all help each other!

I would love to be an internet friend with something in common with. I say that because I am 52 and do not have an outside job and my other half travels around for his job, we have been in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Dallas, Canada and I don't have time to really make "friends". My friends from my hometown really have nothing in common with me because they all work and still have kids at home. Having and internet friend that is on Jenny would help me keep motivated and give me the chance to cheer someone else on to their goal. My e-mail address is danyaelsmomajo@ymail.com. I really hope that you will consider me. Thank you. Jo
