Broccoli Slaw

I have also been tossing these "slaw" items into my cooked veggies for crunch and satiety.
It has been working for me immensely. Hope this helps beat the "doldrums" of lettuce every day.

Margie
It is all pre-chopped up in bags in the produce section of the grocery store. You can toss it in salads or make coleslaw which is how I made it over the summer for the family.
It's good try it.

Question: Do you use any kind of dressing, and if so, which kind?
Thanks!

Broccoli slaw is a really good idea, I would think any dressing would go well with it.

I also toss in cucumbers, tomatoes and maybe some onion and use this to replace my lettuce salad a few times a week.
Its so nutritious and a great way to get raw veggies into your diet.
it is also faboulous sautee'd with chicken broth or a spritz of PAM for your main veggie. I have used it once as a swap for pasta using this method...Very good.
I love the convenience of just pulling a handfull out of a bag. No chopping needed.
