WOW!!! hello, i was worried i was all alone out here in OREGON.. Well me too, diet and restriction then give up and eat, then starve then try something else.. talk about life around food. so for me some of this program, no alot of this is to learn how to eat!!! portions and different kinds of food, Like take chicken i would only eat plain baked chicken, never in a sauce, or pasta gosh if i ever let myself it would turn into 3 servings.. then i would feel guilty n not eat except salads for 3 days, be starving and and again the sam e old routine. so this is great!! i am actually eating foods!!1 weight loss, wel ive had the same 10-12 pounds forever, that i would like to loose, so that maybe i can actuallu put on my jeans and fell like they are too tight all the time. so thats my motives. I work as a nurse, have 3 daughters, 2 dogs, 3 cats, a rabbit, oh yes and a great husband. busy life. I like going to the beach, reading, exercise to a point, i really love to shop!!!!!. I really like the jc forums/ so i started on nov.6th so this is just starting week 4. i am so glad to hear from you

Also today I skipped my milk in the morning and had a FANTASTIC salad of light ceasar dressing and some fresh parmasian cheese....yummmm....
I am so excited and can't wait to keep on my journey! I'm really loving how I feel, so much energy now that I have eliminated junk food...simply wonderful!
Good luck to all of you! Go Blazers!

Hi to my fellow Oregonians. I'm a native Oregonian, born in Salem, grew up in Portland and now live in Roseburg. Have been on JC home style. Didn't do well. This time I decided to go to Eugene and have a consultant I could see face to face. I think it was a good choice.
Having lots of trouble with veggies. don't like salad, because fat free dressings are too vinegary. I need something mild and creamy. I'd like a vegetable dip as well. I would be very grateful for suggestions.

If there is anyone in my neck of the woods looking for a walking buddy let me know. This is a great time of year to be outside welcoming another beautiful Oregon spring. I love spring. We're all going be be feeling really good about ourselves this summer and our bodies are going to be thanking us.
Met my new Jenny lady today, I like her a lot. I feel like it's my first day at camp or something. I couldn't watch Carrie Fisher melt in front of me, I want to be right there with her.
Best wishes to everyone. We can do this!

I love the food with JC and was even motivated to walk 2 miles this afternoon. It is a snow day, so I didn't have to teach today. Then, this afternoon, the snow melted and the outside temps reached the mid-40's. Figured it was a good day to go for a walk. Would love to hear from anyone in this area. I am doing the JC At Home.

I want to lose about 60 lbs total so I have a long way to go. I have 3 kids, homeschool, and help run our family business so my life is always chaotic. It would be nice to have some accountability and support on a daily basis. I have tried so many other programs in the past and even tried Jenny after my second child was born but quit after a few months. I usually get down about halfway and then end up quitting. This time I want to actually accomplish what I set out to do.
I am on the 1700 calories per day right now. What about you guys?

Hey Linda - WELCOME to Jenny!!
While I don't live anywhere near Medford (I live in Ohio) my Mom In Law lives in Grants Pass. When we went to visit this summer we flew into Medford and immediately went from the airport to the JC center to pick up my food for the week we were there. I LOVED the gals that worked at your center. They seems as though they really cared about me even though I wasn't going to be a regular client. I forget the name of the JCC I talked to, but I really liked her a lot.
Your area is just beautiful!! If my kids weren't all here in Ohio, I wouldn't hesitate moving there in a heartbeat!!

I'm having a rough time with the Jenny Cuisine - I work as a fine dining chef, so my tastebuds have been seriously spoiled
