Hi everyone!!

I am a 21 yr old senior majoring in Biological Engineering. My schedule is hectic with school and organizational activities, so I started eating junk food and fast food more and more. I joined JC on the 31st and start the plan this past Monday the 8th. Eventhough I wasn't on Jenny Food last week, I tried to eat a bit healthier while I was at a conference. I have found it difficult to eat all of the food since starting the program because I am not hungry. This is especially so since I have become sick with sinus junk since Tuesday. When I am sick, I am even less hungry (I think it's a side affect of the medicine), so eating all of the food is even. Any advice on how to make yourself eat all of the food is greatly appreciated. Also, any advice on dealing with the program while you are sick is welcome too. When I am sick I crave ice cream and other comfort foods, so it has been hard these past couple of days, but I have stuck with the plan.

See you all around!
~Emily~

I have been sick a lot lately and it is hard to eat all the food. I tend to space it out more and if needed I'll skip the snack or anytime bar since I think the meals are more important. Since I had strep I switched out one of the dinners for a can of chicken noodle soup but I hot the healthy choice kind with less sodium.

As time goes on and you get into the swing of the program and working out eating all the food gets easier. It's also helpful if you get on a schedule for eating the meals and then just carry the snacks with you.

I have been sick recently, too--sinus stuff is just going around, I guess! I love to do a chicken boullion cube with hot water and it's kinda like chicken broth from a soup...it's the only thing I can stomach sometimes when I'm not feeling well. Also, I recommend definitely eating all your fruit for the day because, not only is it on plan, but it will help you get better smile.gif. Another thing I've been doing is making sure to not lounge around like I used to do when I was sick because I just feel worse--and I got better pretty quickly! Good luck and congrats joining us here with JC smile.gif!!!

getting the soups from jc is great for when your sick they are easier to eat when you dont feel well. and make sure you have anytime bars or multivitamins to give you what you need and help you get better faster. also if you are craving ice cream, getting the skinny cow ice cream bars or small sizes, you can use those in replace of your snack for the day.

Hey!

I'm in the same boat with you! I'm getting ready to start my senior year in Nursing school and I too want to get the weight off and keep it off. I think we could be each other's support system. I haven't started JC yet because I just had my tonsils taken out today but as soon as I'm healed, I'm starting the program. Feel free to add me on fb, or message me. We can do this!!
