Im halfway through the program and Ive been finding that half the time I am NOT hungry for my lunch or snack in the afternoon and eat only because the program tells me too. Is this good? Is it good to eat when your NOT hungry just for the sake of eating every two to three hours? I feel like I could lose more weight if I didnt eat when I wasnt hungry ...Any advice?

My room mate has gone to skin care school I cant spell the actual term for it. But she learned that if you dont get so many calories in a 24 hour period your body starts storing. I am in the navy and a lot of the guys do the body building diets where they eat every 3 hours and they do just fine cause most the time they are not hungery either. Its your money. Try going a week eating only when you are hungry and see if it makes a difference. It might for a week or two but if you start gaining then you will know what is right for you. I plan on joining tomorrow so I cant tell you what I have felt or done only what I know right now. Good luck!

While you really shouldn't skip an entire meal (it messes up your metabolism, to my understanding), I think its okay if you add the snack to your evening meal, or eat it later in the day (like add your serving of fruit to your dessert... raspberries and cheesecake are my favorite!). The important this is to make sure you get all your calories in throughout the day, to make sure you are getting enough energy into your body... From what I've read, it's not WHEN you eat that's as important what and how much. So as long as your getting all your food for the day in... I would say eat it whenever smile.gif

I think you should skip any of the food. I have been off from work this summer and sleeping in late so my meals are spaced out way different. Like B-fast at 11:00, Lunch at 2:00, and then dinner 7:00 or 8. My Jenny Craig consultant seemed to think that was just fine. Perhaps you could save your food when you are not hungry and eat it later. I wouldn't skip it entirely.

My first sentence should have been: I don't think you should skip any of the meals.
