Hey Girlies, just checking in. How are you ladies doing so far into the New Year? I am actually doing pretty good, I cant wait til my WI tuesday, I am hoping for some good numbers.....yay me!

Its about time I get to update my ticker.

Here in Tn we are gearing up for a winter snowstorm....woohoooo, its about time. We NEVER get snow here, and they are forecasting 3-6 inches......that will pertainere shut down the city. lol. The grocery stores are crazy busy right now, but I am prepared. I have my jc food and made homemade beef stew for my family. We have our snow gear ready to go and play in the snow. ha

I have been sticking to JC but the scale just isn't moving for me. With my body bug...I have a calorie deficit of 550 to 800. But I'm only getting in about 1300 calories. I can't figure out what is wrong....actually getting frustrated with the darn scale, but I keep telling myself my clothes are getting bigger so the show is in that so I'm loosing inches.

I've noticed in the late afternon when I weight myself I'm at 143 or 144 I workout eat supper and by the time I go to bed I'm at 145 or 146 then in the morning back to 142...UGHH!!! I'm about ready to stop eating supper at this point for that scale to get off of 142.

I'm not feeling so good today, my youngest has the flu and I think I'm getting bronchitis which is so weird I have not smoked in 2 1/2 years and I used to get that every year....what is up with that????!!!!

Anyway I stil keep plugging along.

Good Luck to you on your weight in!!!! I'm excited for you Melissa!!!

So Sorry you dont feel good Les sad.gif .....ya know, even though my hubby has never smoked in his life he still gets bronchitis and pnuemonia every winter. Hope you feel better soon!

Keep hanging in there with the scale deal, your clothes really tell the truth and as long as you tell a difference in them try not worry about the scale...I know, easier said than done. ha.

Also, I cant eat after 8pm, if I do I wont lose. I know some ppl say it doesnt make any difference in their weight loss, but it certainly does mine. I always weigh more in the evening too. Thats perfectly normal, with all the fluid, food and just moving around, it adds up and makes us weigh more at night.

Well I am setting my second goal. My first goal was starting JC, been 10 weeks and I lost 7lbs.

Now my goal is to loose 10lbs by New Year! That gives me 8 weeks. I can do this!!! Anyone want to join me?

Sounds good...water and walking it is. I don't have one of those things that count your steps (yet) should get it next week with my JC package. It will be like x-mas early!

I will do my elliptical instead of walking for 30 min.

How do you calculate calories burned on your elliptical? It is not on the JC activity sight. Thank You, Mary

My elliptical tells me how many I burn...but not realistic I have learned to the BMF. The ellilptical says I burn a little over 400 (depending on what setting I use..I use #4) but my BMF only shows I burn around 300. So that is hard to say for you. But I will say just getting up and moving is half the battel. smile.gif
