I started JC in August 2010 and hit goal 110 lbs later in December 2011. I'm now living a wonderful new life that is balanced with a daily focus on mindful eating, activity, and commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Welcome Shari,

My best advice would be to commit to this 100% - I don't want to sound harsh, but I'm a little concerned that it's only your first week in and already you have eaten a "few" things off plan. If you don't commit fully you likely won't see the results you want and won't be as motivated to stay on plan.

The posts Margie provided are excellent and have done a lot for keeping me on track through Canadian Thanksgiving and now Hallowe'en.

Good luck!
Jen
JC CLIENT - 2008 - present.
Lost more than 70lbs in 2008/2009
Have put a few back on - back for a tune up - hoping for a new low.

Welcome Shari!

There is a wealth of information on this forum, i suggest just skimming around......esspecially on the "general" forum, where the vast majority post some really awesome info/advice and tips.

Also I would suggest reading 100 days of weight loss by Linda SPangle. Alot of us on the forum are reading it. This book can be incorporated into any plan. We also have a thread here named after the book (posted link below) and many of us are there discussing the program, and offering support to one another......check it out!
