I found the secret to the fish and chips is to cook it in the oven. I take it out of the plastic tray and put it on a cookie sheet and then flip it over about halfway through the cooking time. Makes the fish and the potato wedges nice and crispy. When I was on program before and used the microwave for this meal, it was soggy and gross.

I do the same thing. I use my toaster oven tray. I put it on the closest rack to the coil (Electric oven) and cook it for 20 min on one side and 20 on the other. Then I'll turn on the broiler coil and toast it up a bit. Makes it nice and crispy!

EVERYTHING WITH SUCRALOSE a.k.a. Splenda in it! Splenda causes intestinal problems, headaches and rashes. Anyone else?????? JC tells you to drink Crystal Light which is LOADED with it!!! It is a toxic chemical compound!
Has anyone had similar issues?

I do. I had to check everything for aspartame. I can't stand the taste but more than that I get headaches, my tongue swells and I get canker sores in my mouth. I stick with water - plain and simple.

I don't have problems with splenda, I just don't like it. But Crystal Light has aspartame, which is nutrisweet, not splenda. They're different, though aspartame is worse for you than sucralose.

Artificial sweeteners don't affect everyone the same. They don't bother me a bit, but I hate the flavpr of them. If you want a healthy, natural sweetener, try stevia. Make sure you get pure stevia though. Truvia is a blend and people have issues with that too, but so far I haven't found anything bad about stevia.

I don't like the flavor in drinks, but I'm going to try baking something with it to see if it has that bad aftertaste after baking.

I agree with you about the chicken corn chowder but I squeezed lemon in it and then it was edible. Then I was looking forward to the choc. chip cookie, it seemed a little hard so decided to put it in the microwave..... not a good idea.... it sparked then the rapper melted to the cookie. sad.gif

The popcorn gave me double over gas pains in my stomach and just under my breast area. I thought I was having a heart attack at 41 then my stomach started to make the sound of a category 5 Hurricane and I realized it had to be gas. Has anyone had this reaction?

Wow, haven't heard anyone complain about that before! If its too soggy in the microwave, try baking it in the oven or cooking it in a toaster oven. Its my favorite breakfast! I don't even use syrup, I smush up the fruit in the fruit cup, warm it, and use that as my syrup.

I find the tuna salad/chicken salad to be inedible. It reminds me of Fancy Feast cat food!

Oh, God, I loved it, which cracks me up because I'm a cat lover! Maybe I really was a cat in another life. LOL!

I'm so suprised I didnt see this but my absolutely will never eat again food is def the chicken pasta parm, not the frozen chicken classico parm. I literally had to choke that down with half a bottle of red pepper on it. I'm sorry but I dont do orange chef boyardee sauce YUCK! Everything else is pretty edible but I dont do the soups, just a waste to me.

The anytime bars are not sweet and taste chalky. I am sad the salmon is so overcooked. I was really looking forward to the omega fatty acids in it....so good for you. How can dried out salmon be good for you?

The salmon is alot better if you dont cook it as long as suggested, infact I never cook the dinners as long as it recommends on the box. I think my micro is set on high too.

worse item in my book - ::: drum roll ::::: the Salmon... I still have flashbacks to the beginning of the program being so hungry and tossing that one right in the garbage and contemplating eating the box it came in!

It's not JC I'm sure I do not like Salmon wink.gif

Jenny Direct I just ate when they sent me on the pre-planned but I knew enough next order to have them mark it off... NO SALMON on my file.

Wow after reading about the Salmon I have a little Salmon-phobia going on here... well at least I have 3 cats that may come to my rescue if it is truly inedible.

haha Jess, Its really not that bad....give it a try. I love Salmon so I guess its tolerable to me. Of course fresh is best, but as far as frozen its ok, if not cooked as long as suggested.

Yeah, like Melissa said, it's not horrible. I don't particularly enjoy it but I'm not a bit salmon eater.

And it's much better if you don't microwave it to smithereens, as I've learned firsthand! Lol
