Is okra an unlimited free food?

And how do you like yours prepared?

Okra is very low calorie so I would assume that it is an "unlimited free" as well. I don't know much about preparing it though. Anyone with suggestions??

I eat okra all the time! I typically just boil it. Add a little bit of salt to taste. The water it boils in gets a little slimey but if you can get past that, it is yummy!

I wonder if you can cook it in the oven. I am from Texas and we used to fry ours. I don't even own a frying pan now. Just would like to be able to enjoy them crispy!

I use to love fried okra, but if you put them in the oven on broil for about 4 minutes on each side they get toasty and a little crispy or just bake them for about 10 minutes ands and they get cruncy too. I usually cut mine in small bite size, Yum.

Yes I believe its a free food too, baked sounds yummy! smile.gif
My motivation is asking myself one question:

What is making you put your goals on hold?"
