I just started JC yesterday. I have about 40 lbs to loose. I will be 50 in Dec and loosing weight seems to get harder and harder with each passing year. I know it is now of never!

I am very motivated and would love to find a buddy to support and for support. I have three teens and work full time which makes life stressful.....

Hi KHD,
I live in RI I am 35 and have two children (one of them is in his teenage years) the other thinks she is a teenager. LOL
I work full time as well and understand the stress of life. Believe me it gets crazy in m y corner of the world. I joined JC 8/15 and weighed in four days later (due to going out of town this weekend) and I have lost three pounds. So stick with it it si working for me so far!! I would love to keep in touch to help you out.
Where are you in mass? Take care.

Hi Nicki - I live about 26 miles south of Boston. How is your weekend going? I have enjoyed JC so far - of course its only been a few days.....I have 3 kids - Nicole is 17 - Alex 15 - Ryan 13. Nicole will be a senior this year, Alex a sophomore, and Ryan is an 8th grade. I tried JC once before but dropped out because of the cost of the food - I felt guilty spending so much on myself. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi there!

I'm 52 and live in Connecticut. I've just completed my first week and I so agree that it's much harder to lose weight now than when I last did JC about 12 years ago. I have two kids and work full-time. I'd love to be buddies as I lose about 35-40 pounds.

I look forward to "talking" with you!

Hello ladies...I have also started the program three weeks ago and am from MA. I have four children ages ranging from 7 to 17, am 37 and work full time so I also understand the stresses and hecticness (is that a word?) of life. I did JC last year and lost 30lbs (it was my goal)...I didn't do the maintenance and gained back 17 lbs. I have since lost 5 and want to go another 20lbs. It works, but is tough on your own. Maybe we can all support each other?

Here's another MA person here! Been back a few weeks and have lost three pounds! Would love any MA buddies! I live in the Greater Lowell area, south of Nashua, NH. We definitely have to support one another!
