Just started back up on Jenny for the umpteenth time but this time I am determined to stick with it. Looking for any support that I can find at this time to help me stay focused. I'm 44 yrs old married with two kids ages 11 and almost 14. Located in the Scripps Ranch area working near Scripps La Jolla. Someone to chat with, email, and maybe go for walks.

Sabrina

Hi Sabrina! I read your post and I would love to be a buddy with you. I'm an the same - joining JC for the umpteenth time. I live in Oceanside, married, 43 (almost 44) and a mother of 2 wonderful girls I so want to stay focused and really improve my life in so many ways. I would love to chat. I know we are about 30-40 minutes away, but knowing me, if I know that someone wants to meet to walk I won't let them down - which means not letting me down. I have my first appt. with JC 6/30 to start myself on the right track. Let me know your thoughts.

Hi, I just started AGAIN after a number of years. Check out my post on the RESTART forum. I'm in the Encinitas area, and always open to meeting up for a quick walk. I've been a member at the YMCA in Encinitas for 7 years. I usually work out 4x a week, but it's always nice to switch it up. rolleyes.gif

I'm in the same boat! LOL....I've been off and on and really trying to stick with it....I would like an email buddy I can touch base with and give support to daily. I've got two kids (almost pre-teen), I am 41, I work, I have little time to ever exercise, and have a LOT of weight to loose, and think someone I could touch base with daily for support might be exactly what I need! Getting on here is so difficult, especially not getting email notifications to quickly link up and log in...

Good luck to everyone!

(Benton, you're not the only man on the forum, I know that for sure...good luck and good for you for taking charge of your health!)

Hi CA Mama! I'd really like having an email buddy too. I also have a lot to lose. I set my goal as 100 lbs, but really could lose more than that. Just thought I would pick a number and then see how I felt when I reached my first goal. I'm 53, I'm a nurse with a crazy schedule - hard to get in exercise after a 12 hour shift. Feel free to email me at Louise1027@aol.com and get to know each other better. I'm starting week 9, and have been doing really well on this program. Would be nice to have someone going through the same challenges and offer support along the way. -Louise

Hi everyone. Restarted on Jenny again today! Wee! I'm Rita, nice to meet you all.

I've been on it in the past, the last time in 2007. I'm 38 - 2 little kids (3 & 5), husband, and a fulltime job. I would love to be able to connect with others in San Diego doing the same thing. Looking to lose 25 lbs that have found their way on to my body in the last few years.

I live in the central San Diego area, work in Mission Valley and live up the hill. I am a member of the Y and would love to also find someone I can buddy up with for exercise.

Thanks for listening!

-Rita
